How is the finishing standing up 4 months on? The true test will be after the winter.. :winky:
I think Feb 2010 means they've been on for a year and 4 months :P
Just had 2 of my tyres replaced with Michelin PS3s - waiting for them to scrub in to comment on whether they're better than the F1As they replaced but they certainly seem a fair bit quieter and more comfortable too.
This I have to see, can you post up a pic?!
Ditto, interested to see how well it fits!
As Purvesh mentioned many have fitted it in the past, it's the same armrest out of the auto, fits fine in a manual too :)
That's a good question, I'm not too sure on how it works but the keys are coded to the ECU so perhaps that might be true. I think the question here would be can the system be told to forget all the keys and then just re-code the ones you have - that way the stolen one won't work any more.
Apologies if I'm completely wrong.
I think you would, but you'd have to see whether it would be a dealbreaker for you or not - I think the standard setup is Pioneer so not a bad system anyway.
Haha
Damn just £5 for a wash?! I've paid the eastern europeans more than that in the past
Any idea what their detailing prices are like? Sounds like a plan for the next I'm down at Ace, drop the car in next door and pick it up a bit later :winky:
Yeah it's annoying isn't it! If the extra fuel isn't a big issue then I'd look at the GS430 - I found the GS300 quite underwhelming to drive, while the 430 felt lovely plus I found the adaptive suspension on the 430 worked better than the standard one in the 300.
Plus the 430 has a better spec (includes adaptive cruise) and is such a bargain nowadays with the way fuel prices are.
Just found these with a google which confirm what I said:
Autoblog
Autocar
Yahoo cars
Also seems the colour was specific to the LE, think it was otherwise only available on the LS.
From what I remember the GS300 LE was an SE with a few extra bits.
Essentially I think the only real difference is that the SE-L has mark levinson while the LE doesn't, but the LE has the TTE front lip and side skirts to make up for it :)
Not 100% on this but I believe the mirrors were the same, the only thing that changed was that later cars are switched while early ones are permanently on.
I can't see there being much point in an LSD unless you're taking the car on a track - in any case I would think the optional LSD for the IS350 may work, but I have no idea whether it fits on the 250.
As others have said, I've used all sorts of CDs as well, from branded to unbranded costing just a few pence and I've never had any problems.
Could be an issue with your cd writer not closing the disc properly rather than the CDs themselves.
And just to check you are making audio cds and not MP3 cds right?
If you want to stick with Lexus I think the LS alloys fit on the GS, which gives you the option of 3 different styles in 19" (there's even one that looks very similar in design to the standard wheels on the GS450h but in 19" if you want to keep things looking standard). There's also a set of 19" TTE wheels which I'm not sure if still available but worth checking.
Other than that there is obviously a huge selection of aftermarket alloy wheels out there so look around and see what you can find!
Could be but doesn't have to. I bought the parts from ACLex on here who works for Lexus Poole (and provided a healthy discount :winky: ) and then had it all fitted at WIM.
