  1. It's cheaper to buy direct, as if you buy via ebay you have to pay for the postage.
  2. The seller sells them on ebay. http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZhir_headlights I've ordered them and has no problems wth my set. As for Rob, I will withdraw my statement as I have no statisical evidence to prove it, purely my subjective opinion.
  3. I'm sorry but have to disagree on the quality of these bulbs. PIAA bulbs has always had poor reviews. For example: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/prod...inum_white.html Blue coated bulbs in general are never as bright as plain white/yellowish bulbs. If it's a whitish/blueish tint you are after, fine but there are cheaper options out there, like Philips Blue Vision. If you want the brightest bulbs without HID, go with these. http://www.finemotoring.com/
  4. My apologies to all but due to some last minute commitments I can no longer attend
  5. You will be amazed at the little differences, like the battery and faulty bulb icons swapped around. Problems jason_l and snowman run into when trying to make a finishing product for our speedos.
  6. What's wrong with this thing, I'm only a Corsa
  7. I purchased a set on eBay from the US, came from a pre-2003 model and use the standard 9006 bulbs. Direct replacement for my existing ones.
  8. Yup and I can prove it, Chris' back and red IS200 right at the end.
  9. Don't like them at all myself. The auction is just for a pair of headlights and a set of HIDs, I don't see any special design in the housing to accomodate a HID unit (projector), at best it is a half hearted attempt.
  10. Top pic looks like a big weight dropped on Tony's head like in cartoons :D
  11. Well we had more Lexus(es?) there then almost anything else, except maybe the MR2s, so it was a very good turnout! I only took 2 pics, hopefully some others had taken some 2.
  12. Might be difficult to get your hands on them, but any CCTV footage might help, ask your friendly local shopkeepers.
  13. Some meets only costs you petrol money, like the one in Birmingham this week. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=49425 It's "only" 1.5 hrs away from Wiltshire (based on Swindon) , not far when compared to some travelling from London or Manchester.
  14. This should help, original rims done in smoked chrome.
  15. Why not just combine the Euro meet in July with a Ring visit? They aren't far apart.
  16. If peeps are interested in visiting the Ring again, why not combo it with the Euro meet in July (although not much news on progress as far as I can work out from the Euro board), we need more reps from the UK! http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=47358
  17. If this is what you are talking about It's a screw on like the OEM, I bought it here. http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=4632 If it is the Duracon, not sure but I suspect the same. http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=4631 No leather and £11 more, what the heck?!
  18. I'm afraid my proposition is for a M1 northbound for those south of the M6, I see there are some interest from Essex and London area. Nothing stoping you from setting up your own convoy though! Surely there must be some going from north of Birmingham.
  19. Anyone coming up via M1 interested in a convoy?
  20. Just out of curiosity, is anyone noticing this time difference between posting and the time stamp on the post? From my IT experience there are situations where out of sync server times causes unexpected behaviour, just wonder if this might be a side effect. Not sure if this is a good comparision, but I'm still getting subscription e-mails from WIM forum, and it appears to me that LOC is using the same type of forum backend.
  21. Just rang the accesiblevans people, no longer sell them, guess it has to be direct from the US then. I have the opposite problem on my IS200, my auto headlights are too sensitive, there is this overpass I drive under with traffic lights, and if I stop even in the shade of it my lights come on, which I always feel I might be annoying the driver in front.
  22. If anyone is interested, I got a spare one (NB: not a pair) for sale, PM me if interested, open to reasonable offers, willing to match whatever goes for on ebay per item mentioned by aztecbandit.
