I missed the big Evo crash, any chance of a link to the pictures? I did see a Scooby nearly come to grief, but was mightily impressed by his off road recovery - the benefits of AWD I guess. I sometimes get that at the police station in Kingston, and rarely at the Hospital in Guildford, both of which bristle with masts and antennae(s?). Fortunatley I've never been in a position where I could lock the car then not unlock it again, which happened to me in my Primera days! :(

I thought the last series of top gear was very poor compared to how it used to be. It seemed all self congratulatory and opinionated and not much car stuff really. Here's hoping for better things....

I can recommend Dent magician in Henfield after having used them to sort a scrape on my car. They are in Henfield, which is only a short hop into the downs from Brighton, and they were quick and efficient. Hope it pans out OK

The motor that moves the back of the seat up and down stopped moving the seat! Its the rearmost switch on the bar. It would whirr, but no movement resulted. I presumed it had just become disconnected or something, but apparently the seat needed to be changed!

I just wanted to share my tale with you all. One of the motors that move the seat stopped working in my IS 200. No problem I thought, its still under warranty, and while I've got a few days off work and won't need my car anyway I'll get it done. Booked it into Lexus Edgeware road, and they said it should only take half a day. At the end of the day though, they phoned and said the warranty company wanted to send an independent inspector the next day. No prob. there except the inspector never pitched up! As I needed the car again, We rearranged for the following week hoping that my car, the inspector, the parts etc. would all coincide. I left my car at 8.15 am, but the inspector didn't arrive until after 4.30pm. Then he 'forgot' to send the report back to the warranty company. In the end it was the third day of the second week before the work was even authorised to begin! No complaints about Lex Edgeware road though. They were great. Sorry this is so long.
