congrats mate, i just picked up a gs300 sport mk1 on friday, and i have the same problem as you. when braking from around 70mph there is a judder, i thought it was the wheel balance and-or tracking because on one of the tyres it has worn on the outer of the tyre. took it 2 kwik fit and they got it on the rolling road, they sed it is a warped disc, i felt the disc and there is the slightest of ridge at the outer, im not convinced its the brakes.

thanks for the replies, the car is safely home now and is tucked up in the garage. few things i noticed were,i need to get the tracking donee and balancing, i think, when i brake the steering wheel judders and the car veers to the left. also need a full valet, done, pretty dirty. i will get more pics 2 moz,, taking to alton towers 2 moz morn. oh well. thelong journey was worth it in the end. left at 6am coach 6.30, got 2 london victoria street about 1pm. then london underground to hounslow, then had sum lunch picked motor up and bak 2 liverpool. got in about 8pm. beautifull drive. also if anybody knows any professional valeters inliverpool area canu letme know please. thanks anuj

we have had our LS430 for 18odd months with no problems.dun over 62k on an 04.. but in about 5 hours we are leaving to pick up a mk1 gs300 sport, from my cousin in london. in 1997 he came here to liverpool to pick this car up. since then "11"years he has clocked up just 60k in town driving. from his home to the airport. in that 11 years of motoring all he has had to replace is the battery in his key fob last year, and of course tires. cant wait till tomorrow.

I've used Falken FK452's and Eagle F1 GSD3's with no problems. Currently got continental Sport Contact 2's on the back and they seem to be OK too. thanks Only thigns I have done to mine are clear side repeaters, clear front indicators and calipers painted. i would usually do this To a car but i think orange suits this colour car better The Sport is lowered by 25mm all round already. Speed bumps give enough grief with just that drop so I'm not sure I would want to drop mine any further. ok thanks, i just wanted to see other mark1 sports for ideas, iprob wont lower it because lookiong at them pics its quite low

i think the main reason i say it looks ugly is the grill, its too big and looks too big, compared to the rest. i like the fact it has internet in it though

hello, iam sure there are probably thousands of different opinions on what products to use but i was wondering what i should do to my LS430. it is 4years old and has covered 62k and i would like to detail it, today i super guarded it with just the shampoo and i was wondering what i should do next and what products to use. i am thinking of clay baring it with meguiers? then adding a the superguard paint sealer, should i then add the colonite wax, let me know please, anuj

hello, we are purchasing a mk1 gs300 sport soon and were thinking of doing an lpg conversion on it. i was wondering whether anybody has done it before and what sort of prices we should be looking at, also, the ls430 is going in for its mot on friday and we were thinking of taking a 24 hour test drive on a ls460/600h can this be done? thanks

hello, cleaned the ls430 today. i decided to use the superguard kit for the 1st time and i have 2 say im impressed. havent used the polish cream yet just the 15ml sachet and the alloywheel cleaner and protector and tire shine heres sum pics for a rainy day.... lol interior is next any recommendations on leather cleaner thanks hope u like Anuj

i have a 04 ls430 had it exactly 18months now, and every time i get in, i enjoy it even more, i am still finding new gadgets with it a year and a half on, what a vehicle. i went for a drive in a 56 plate ls460 se-l and the drive was similar i felt, slightly better, and the gadgets were immense. post sum pics mate.

get the gs mate. its a different type of drive. and as for extras. u may not get xenons but for 5k u can easily get the rest and more.
