  1. alright mate ive just been doing sum research and it seems bridgestone turanza serenitys are very good tyres for the ls430, they are new tyres and the reviews so far have shown they are very quiet and provide good grip too

  3. Hi guys, been looking at the 5 star warranty for my 3.0 GS300 (its 11 years old so I can just about get cover for it!) http://www.click4warranty.co.uk/ They are saying it will be covered to the glasses guide price of the car? Thing is.....The car needs new ball joints/suspension parts as it creaks and stuff. You think I go for it? Its £260 for a year. Also thinking of getting tyre insurance for 2 years £160 as they cover against punctures for 5 claims of £250 per tyre..... from another site What are ure opinons on this?
  4. alright mate. we have an 03 honda accord sport 17" its a 2,0 and it is a very good car. coming up 2 100k now and still no problems. id take the honda mate, cant fault them, however, if he wants comfort, he should get a 2.2cdti executive with no more than 16" alloys as the 17" affect the ride quite a bit. suppose its the same with most cars but... hope this helps. and if he does choose the honda tell him about www.thaoc.co.uk the honda accord owners club forum. very helpfull people.
  5. haha, they are not that bad, however i will finalise my judgement on monday, as the gs300 sport we have is going through a little test, liverpool to manchester every day cruised at 70mph! clocked up 151 miles so far and has gone just over a quarter. fastest it got driven so far is 73mph for an overtake. see wat we can get out of the 80litres. will let u know. as for the ls430, got around 29mpg out of it with mixed driving, mainly motorway but start stop aswell
  6. jesus i farted when that came up! im normally wise to these aswell
  7. hi mate well done on stopping the robbery and i admire what u did, but u keep mentioning the fact they were scallies? what makes u think that? i am not trying2 cause anything here im just curious on how u know they were scallies. also were ure neighbors great full of your actions? thanks Anuj
  8. hey guys these have now been fitted (the nut is very very tight so it had to be grinded off!) They work very very well, can pop the boot up to half way, thats how good they are! I suggest everybody buy them, I can give fitting instructions if need be!
  9. http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/c...6/search.action Interesting interior in this Ls430
  10. id say this is a better pic 2 go by http://www.egmcartech.com/wp-content/uploa...ertible_egm.jpg
  11. i too think that test was awfull. you could tell they were biased from the start. the timing was done by a man and a stopwatch? also, bmw have been doing M cars for a long time, and for lex to produce their first performance car and be just slightly behind is brilliant. also, under 4k revs the isf is pretty normal everyday car and after that is where it performs, so it is best of both worlds, plus the fact its a lex makes it the better car imo.
  12. congrats mate. lovely cars. and about finding things with it after 3 weeks, i am still finding things on the ls430 after 23months
  13. alright mate, i had a similar problem as our ls rarely gets used. basically, u can buy a battery recharger. i borrowed a neighbours and it indicated 2 me that the battery was badly drained, recharged it and car is perfect, however, if you have a secure location that you park it in, e.g garage,it would be a good idea to leave the car unlocked, and about the use of that car i would say you should take it out every week or so on a long run, as this fully recharges the battery, whereas short runs can damage it further. hope this helps, Anuj
  14. ls430 mate, nothing wrong with the ls400, but the 430 is that step ahead in refinement
  15. alright mate, we have one of these aswell, and we are doing a similar thing to you. we want it as close 2 factory spec as possible. so far i have brakes front and back. gas rear boot struts. and the inside and out have been valeted. i will try and get a pic up if i can, anyway ures looks lovely mate, really clean example. beautifull cars. how are the tyres? Anuj
  16. i agree with mark. they are both the same engines and they will cost roughly the same 2 maintain.
  17. hi again mate, if u have 3k- or even 4k u have no chance getting a ls430. u can get a clean ls400 though. and atm there is a gs430, going 4 4250
