    Just thought i would update on my update (above ) got the new KYB shocks fitted....and B****cks ive still got the knocking noise...AAAHHHHGGGGHHHHHH does my head in..! :duh: :duh: Now its either the KYB shocks are ...well....made like that and so they all (old and new ) tend to do it...but not sure.....so if i keep the car and i find some money i will go down the coilover root....or bistein shocks and eibach lowering springs........ ;)

    Really nice car matey :) My brothers got one ( same colour ) and on my delivery someones got a really nice black one...i know the fuel and the oil can be really shocking at times but still nice cars to drive.....be carefull in the wet though the car does like to do some rear wheel drifting.!! :winky: The thing that makes the car faster more powerfull is by turbo`ing the car.... should sort the very low torque out....

    Mmmmm very weird noise...might be good if you posted it up on the WIM wheels-inmotion site....well to me it does sound like the lower ball joint but it cant be because its already been changed....i will keep listening and try and think what it might be..... :winky: Have you checked the steering rack and the drive shafts...?

    Kaspersky internet security....spybot S&D...Ad-Aware..and also Threatfire for sitting in your tool tray and checking and scanning etc each couple of weeks for Rootkits.....been running Kaspersky for a few years now and never had viruses,adware,spyware.etc....so very happy with it all....

    Ooohhh that sound sweet. when the revs climb high up it sounds like a formula 1 car....is it based on the old V10 F1 engine..? Like Parthiban said...Im gonna start saving.! :D might be able to buy one 3rd or 4th hand when im 80 yrs old.. :P

    I would say it was 50/50 the car on the zig zag lines was parked illegally so even if he tried to claim his insurance company MAY not cover him.....the second care was at fault and could get done for undue car and attention.....? its a bit of a tricky one.....they will more than likely will have to pay up from each of there own insurance..?

    Thats a good link stevet...i think all the upgrades are really nice and will make anyones IS250/220 stand out....is this just from the web link you can get these or can you get these from your nearest Lexus dealership..? when i recently went into my local lexus dealership i enquired about a IS250 and also asked about the F-sport upgrades and they didnt have a clue what i was on about....

    Yes mate the Mintex ones will have the retaining spring clip on them ...just dont cut them of...the calliper should already have some fitted also Mintex MDB1708's i think are the right ones....

    The KYB shocks that are on "Buypartsonline" are either standard ones ( oil filled ) Excel-G (gas and oil filled )( i have these fitted ) and also they do adjustable shocks...the standard lexus shocks are OIL filled only.....hope that helps you. :)

    Yep the standard "non mark levenson" system has no centre speaker...imho still sounds great though...i believe its made by Pioneer.....?

    Well just an update i had some new KYB Excel-G shocks fitted as i also had the "knocking" noise......and aswell as improving the ride the "knocking" noise has now gone..!!!! :D

    Ahhh, didn't think even the last ones came with armrests (if manual) - try some breakers, it might be possible to get one cheap. Or try the US too, I got my pedals from there and didn't cost too much (although the FX rate was better at the time) I think he was referring to the car in the original link rather than his own (which he knows is a sport :P ) Yep bodykits were options, TRD one was actually a no cost option towards the end :) Thanx Parthiban... :D

    I know mines not an LE matey.. :winky: .its a SPORT with the TRD sports styling kit.... :D Yep the TRD ,TTE sports styling kits where all options i believe.... about 2500k worth.......and as you say the full leather was standard coming towards the end of the production run.... :) Now all i need is a leather arm rest........ :D OFF TOPIC.....!!!!! If people see one OR anyone sells one on LOC let me know plz....thanx peeps :D
