  1. I believe they surgest changing shocks every 50k....i change mine because of an inner oil valve problem (thanx to the WIM chaps) i replaced all 4 to the KYB Excel-G ( Nitrogen gas & oil filled ) compared to just OEM oil filled.....the ride is a lot more controled over bumps and in the corners...really pleased with them... Just to say i got them from BuypartsOnline and the price for all 4 was £230 including postage.....
  2. Ive got an 05 plate IS200 sport with full leather, body kit etc....the car is defo an LE i just think they upgraded a few bits on the LE compared to the standard SE,sport entitlement...

I went snowboarding to BANFF in Canada a couple of years ago which was brilliant and ended up going to British Columbia to do ski-dooing..!! it was flipping ace..it was up the rockies up in an old mineing area with a huge back bowl....man do those things shift....just a warning when you go over a hump...hold on tight..
  4. I think you can get away with 235/40/18 but other may know more... I remember Mike on here a while back (Mr Morse) had 235/35/18 on his 18s and had no problems - not sure if you can go wider than that though, maybe a question for Tony @ WIM? Was that on the lexus TTE Rims? 225/40/18

  14. Could either be one of the following ..... 1.Brake pads moving in the caliper housing ( could be a broken retaining spring clip )...also while you are looking and have an idea on how to take your pads out put some more copper slip on the back of the pads... OR 2.Lower ball joint...

  20. I would say its your slide pins are sticking matey (dependent on age and miles etc ) you could get some new ones from Lexus or maybe from of the net.....it could also be your pistons sticking due to corrosion some people refurb them ( take them out ,clean them up etc) your best bet is to take it to a local garage ( that know what they are doing ) ....
  21. Yes mate my uncle recently had one fitted by british gas ( he has the break down cover ) he was getting no hot water upstairs...when they came out it was the main valve in the boiler was knackerd and blocked up with sludge ( which will happen over time ) the magna clean is meant to collect all the sludge before it gets into the main part of the boiler...the thing is if you have the british gas cover and when your boiler goes wrong again and you dont have the Magna clean fitted they will say its "Sludge in the system " and they wont cover you...!? Another thing is to put some rad clean in your central heating system OR a small amount of washing up liquid helps stop the sludge build up...... So really up to you..? it will help but it is a lot of money...by the way my uncle paid £240 for the magna clean and for it to be fitted.. the main valve inside and the presure vessel are the 2 main exspensive things to go wrong on a boiler
  22. Is this your first cambelt change..? cutting it a bit fine if it was.... :P
  23. Yes mate they should it did look like an import to me....
  24. Yes mate it could possibly be year related...or a dodgy single batch that they made for cars say between 2003-2005....i had an 2003 plate before my 05 plate and that started knocking after 20,000 miles...
