  1. aren't they just M3's so we just need to look for M3's 1/2 inch long. I looked last night but didn't find anything either.
  2. Blueflame can be bought on Ebay and some online stores or even direct from Blueflame like i did. It is very cheap for a Cat back system. The blueflame is quite loud when you first have it fitted but becomes a lot more subtle once the soot has built up inside. Blueflame will custom make you a dual exit exhaust as well. The exhuast is a modification and will need to be declared as such to the insurance. Most insurance companies have these on their "favourite modifications" list along with <50mm lowering etc..... so isn't too expensive.
  3. cheers Asi - did think 2mm was too small.
  4. screws have snapped - and yes steve i should have sorted it all out last week :(. Asi would you mind measuring the screws and then I can find some appropriate. Ed
  5. yep can anybody give me and ASI a link to some appropriate screws? - had a look and just got a tad confused. Must be having a blond day lol :P.
  6. thanks for the reply's guys. Stav - No worries it's just one of those things - can happen any time like rob said. Plus i could have saved it by sorting it out last week. Rob - The screw looked snapped so will have to take it apart for a look. Got a new belt waiting to go on. Got an 800 and 780 belt as I think the 780 might be easier to keep tight. The car seems fine just a little underpowered.
  7. The hotchkis ARBs are the stiffest you can buy and are adjustable front and rear - the back end will come out more often though the stiffer you make them. I was looking into importing them and worked out that while they were cheaper than Prolex's C-Ones if I got stung at customs it would be more so I got the C-Ones. Hopefully customs will let them through.
  8. lol and a tad loud. I'm another recomendation for the blueflame
  9. Hi Guys, Another day another problem lol. I noticed one of my pulley srews had gone missing last week at Japfest - stupidly being the lazy git that I am: did nothing about it. So yesterday was driving back from work and noticed that when I floor the car I had no power and the SC did not whine. So when I got home I popped the bonnet knowing what I would see...... Firstly could anyone point me in the right direction of some replacement screws? Secondly as the clutch is now spinning freely nothing is lined up and I cannot see how much screw is left inside. Could anyone let me know what I need to do to sort this? I must say that the car is slightly comedy now with the SC whine cutting in and out constantly - I'm assuming that I can't do any further damage driving it? Any help is much appreciated. cheers, Ed
  10. Ed to the rescue lol. My car is a 2001 X reg sport. I changed them the KYB Excel-Gs and they were a straight swap and little Tony @ WIM said they were a like for like swap. I asked at the time as my suspension was standard and I didnt want anything other than OEM spec parts going on.
  11. When i had the same noise i just filled it up and it cured it - no need to bleed it. Not sure about the tapping but the engine does do it a little when cold anyway.
  12. This is caused by a low level of coolant in the system which means that it has room to slosh about when you pull away. If you top up the coolant as Kam05 said then the noise will go away.
  13. yer chicken !! It was getting from the M1 to Wandsworth that was the hard bit :tsktsk: Yeah M4 wasnt great so jumped off early at Hounslow and went and saw a mate in Richmond instead of going straight home lol. Hope you made it back for the Quiz - What would the Ozzys do without you on a Sunday? :P
  14. Doesn't seem to happen anywhere near as much now i have the charger - not sure if its the decreased torque right at the bottom or the increased torque further up. Ed edit: - think i've missed a joke here
  15. C-One's are better value as they come with new brackets and bushes - have them on mine.
  16. Yeah, the police were obviously waiting on the route home, I saw that too, several cars pulled over. I wonder what that was for ? I did see one of them with an illegal number plate (font too small), I wonder if it was for that ? Strange - I turned left out of the gate and all I saw were a couple of broken down Evo's lol. Great to see everyone again.
  17. looks like you guys had a great meet. Sort of glad i decided i didnt have time to make it seeing as it took Wozza so long to make it to Wandsworth.
  18. if it's been serviced to schedule then you shouldn't have any problems. Just need to do the same checks when you look at it as the 200.
  19. yeah most codes are generic and can be read by any ODBII reader. I know some can't be read as my scanguage missed some that Lexus found when it went in for a service.
  20. how much are you looking at for retro fitting an lsd if you don't mind me asking?
  21. Yeah if you want to drift lol. Seriously though it is worth having - but not really at the cost for retrofitting it on the non supercharged model. It does give you better handling on the limit and the benefit of having it is increased with the charger - but there are other suspension mods ARBs for example that will increase the handling more.
  22. won't make much difference to a stock engined IS200 really
  23. I have got over an eight hour drive just to get there Ah but Mr Mole i'm not insane :P. Would leave Bristol about 2ish but then wouldn't be with you guys untill about 4 earliest.....gonna be worth it? I'll have another 3-3.5hrs home after too.
  24. I'm gonna try and make this but may be a little later on as I am staying in Cardiff the night before after Japfest and was planning on lunch with my cousin in Bristol on Sunday. But will try.....might decide not to as i'll be driving for about 7 hrs that day if i do.
