    you're right Duncan, the lock screws are holding the boot lid, you have to remove the lock to take the boot lid away

    totally agree, my Optima least 1 week, replaced it under warranty and don't have problem since then (3 weeks), but friends of mine had the same probs too

    right, for the front don't go bigger if you lower the car. The rear can be 10*19 with 265 tires

    I have a Yellow top Optima, it is smaller than the stock battery . Exide ones are good as well. In your case, I think a capacitor would be veryuseful aswell to avoid voltage variations.

    the problem is solved :), I connected the headunit ground wire to the green wire (lights of the OEM unit) so when I turned on the lights, is burnt the fuse. Connecting the ground to the brown wire and changing the fuse makes all go right again Thanks to Geoffers for his very helpful and patient replies
