  1. If you have the satnav as stnd and you fit an atfer market hu the satnav will stop working, but you can get a box of trick to fit to the satnav to make it work again.
  2. Ok i have 2 possible fixes of you to try. 1, pull both headlights washers in and out a few times, this helps if you have an air block! 2, try the switch in the dash itself, may have come un-clipped some how!?
  3. well all said and done, you got them working...
  4. Have you tried them on a 12v power supply to make sure they do work? Then test the sidelight socket on your car with a multi meter.
  5. To fit a grom kit on an is200 takes 10-15 mins tops, one plug that fits into the rear of the oem headunit and your good to go...
  6. Get your self a Grom kit IMO mate, had one before i swapped head units and it works a treat, if you connet your iphone to it you get music, tomtom voices and take phone calls through the car speakers.
  7. Its on another forum mate, and if i put it up it will be removed, and i cant pm it to you as that would be breaking the rules... Email me and ill forward the tutorial.
  8. Jezz Tiger they look ££££££££££££3
  9. i have this type of T10 fitter with out probs. Is this the same or one of these?
  10. The bulbs in the pic for the heater are called neo wedge bulbs. Their a straight swop just make sure you have the polarity correct for them to work!! If you just replace your orig orange ones with these it will NOT give the same effect as the pic below..... This is a much much more complex producer that will make you loose your hair and make you swear like a trooper trying to achieve the look.
  11. This is a pic of a H4 HID bulb for dual filament replacement. As you can see in the pic there's a cover that fits behind the bulb for driving lights and when you turn on your high beam the cover moves exposing the full brightness of the bulb.
  12. Did you try turning them 180 as leds only work in one direction.
  13. Hi alteaser, try swapping the - + over as only LEDs only run one way unlike normal bulbs do. As for the lights inside I'd say it's a fuse.
  14. Try first video now, they are all in sync when in normal use but the flashing's a bit random on the arm / dis-arm with the remote. But at least i get a visual reference for arm / dis-arm as i was expecting not to have any at all.
  15. Fitted new led indicators and relay today. Fitting relay was ok, bit tricky to get access to it but as its the first relay you dont have to pull the whole fuse box out. http://youtu.be/ChayqX6jxpw Someone commented that after they had fitted led indicators that they stopped flashing when you armed or disarmed the alarm, but i get a quick blink! http://youtu.be/cQGYbZA8ErQ
  16. Yes the cig lighter is illuminated as is the ash tray. If your going to fit after market head unit, as yours is the sport you'll need an amp by-pass cable to run the new head unit, theres a walk through on here some where. Its not a 10 min job, put aside 1-2 hours as the amp can put up a hell of a fight! PS, when your all ready to fit your head unit dont for get to give the ariel a live feed to power it as you'll get poo radio reception!
  17. Thanks, they have been on the car about 2 years now and still no issues at all. A few dont like but its down to your own taste and i like them and fitted few sets to a friends dadss merc. Will get round to doing rear doors some time...when the weather gets better as im a puff lol...
  18. Looking for a cheap set of wing mirror covers for an is200, dont have to be same colour or in great paint condition as they will be wrapped. But must have locking tabs.
  19. LOL, thats just a photo shopped pic off the net. These are the type i bought for both puddle lights and the red door adge. Their sticky backed so no glue or ties needed. The ones youve odreded will most likely catch the sill, as trheir about 4 times the hight...
  20. Matt, you can get HID kits for your fog lights off ebay for sub £20 now, if i was that bothered or ever used my fogs id get a set.
  21. Sorry didnt really explain that photo very well, yes its the under side of the door. This pic shows where i placed them.
  22. I have 1x24 led in the dome light and that's way good enough, but did the map light mod with a 6 led strip, also my leds do fade out when the cars starts...
  23. Thanks Petayv8, the puddle lights are stuck to the door trim where it meets the door, lust nipped outside to take a pic for you. so hard to take a pic of lights at night upside down with a iphone!!! Hope you under stand where i placed them, theres a ton of room so they dont get caught by the seals at all, i just ran both red door leds and puddle leds to the red door marker, 10 mins job...
  24. The ciggy lighter and ash tray are a T5 LED, one of these. As for the heater controls you'll need this type, But if you replace the stock bulbs with these most people find them not bright enough! Theres a tut on another forum that works so much better, but its a PITA of a job to do but well worth it. This is what you'll end up with with that better mod.
  25. Did my map light and that mod a few post's up. Was going to do the rerst today as the relay is here, but the rain said NO!
