  1. Had the same problem, but if you lock the car with the fob by pressing the lock button twice it switches off the internal sensors, you will see that the indicators flash about 5 times, thats to tell you its double locked. HTH...
  2. Ok, glad i could help. I bought a load off ebay as they were sooo much cheaper, but they came pre-soldered to lengths of wire, but no biggy just cut wire off and there was still enough "leg" on the bulb to do the trick.
  3. Place you hand in the slot underneath then while pushing up to give grip slide the mounting plate out, you'll understand when you get it out. Then the switches can be pushed through from the back.
  4. You need to get spme grain of wheat bulbs off ebay. Or you can get them in maplins but their over £2 each there! Get white not orange as the switch has an orange lens in it already. just remove the old bulb in its holder then remove the bulb by undoing the wire thats wrapped around the holder, refit using new bulb and your good to go.
  5. The switches light up but they dont have an NO light on the switch, they just light up on the dash cluster when switched on.
  6. I have a metallic rattle but its coming from the plates behind the brake discs, if i put my hands through the wheels and flick them they rattle but only the front, rears are ok. Try yours you never know?
  7. Its only a short term fix toothpaste, best wet n dry and polishing with cutting compound, done a few sets now and thats the best i find!
  8. Are you sure, did you remove the stnd unit and look?
  9. What you need to get your hands on is a Grom kit, they sell for around £60+ you can get them for iphone/ipods, usb flash drive or bluetooth. It is as easy as the vid shows to install one of these, around 10 mins and you'll have mp3 music playing through your standard stereo. As for folders i think your limited to around 99, but have a look here, http://www.gromaudio.co.uk/tag/Lexus
  10. if your going down the road of new head unit and dont use the is200's satnav, i'd sell it and put that money towards a better headunit, maybe one with satnav built in but not a cheap china one, Kenwood or the new pioneer app radio?
  11. We want a full detailed write up and pics! Got to have pics, need pics! lol...
  12. I have both driving lights and high beam hid, both sets were bought from eBay off Chinese sellers. Came within a few weeks but for less that £40 for both sets that's well worth the wait! I'd go for 5000k 35watt, that will give you a clean white look. 6000k 35watt have a small blueish look, and 4300k look stock so why bother!
  13. 2 questions! 1, Are you in a rush to get them? 2, Any reason your going for 50watt over 35watts?
  14. Just that when i swopped from normal to led i just changed the fronts first and tested with the hazard switch and all was fine, till i set off and came to my first corner and found the turn signals flashed rapidly, had to buy a new relay thats for leds not normal bulbs.
  15. It does sound like you have a mixture of leds and normal blubs in your lights. Did you re-use your old bulbs or the ones supplied with the new lights? Are the lights Lexus original ones?
  16. Really, when did they change the mot law re hids in fogs?
  17. Nice looking motor, i have the same colour. Not over keen on the plate chrome surrounds, gives it the look of a rover! but each to their own mate.
  18. try using warm soapy water on a cloth, if its still sticky try asking a auto valeter see what they suggest.
  19. Had my ebay set in for over 2 years now, and the do dim.
  20. Their not leds, they are called "grain of wheat bulbs"! Can be bought from ebay for a few pounds for 5ish, get clear!!!
