  1. I never noticed the crack in that pick before, those pics arnt of my car but ill check mine tomorrow and have a look to see what condition mine are in!!!
  2. Hi and welcome to the club, sounds like you may have water in the fuse box under the dash! Have you had the front screen replaced at all or know if the car ever has, because this is the main cause of rain water getting into and on the fuse boxes inside Lexus iS200's. If you've had a new screen then i'd say it needs refitting. Hope this helps.
  3. Hi Jason, i'v not seen a guide for this mod on the net at all, but i think by doing it and turning them into DLR (if thats your intent) you might find the police pull you for them!
  4. OMG!!!!!!! a year without polish or wax, you fecking heathen barsteward!!!!
  5. Had the same problem with mine, turned out to be a broken wire on the lighter socket!!!
  6. I did this Thursday to my is200, Pre wash with snowfoam, left too dwell on car while i did badges and door shuts with detailing brush. Rinse with p/washer wash car using two bucket metherd with Meguiers gold shampoo Rinse with p/washer clayed the whole car with Meguiers clay and using stardrops and water mix for lube snowfoamed car again nodwelling time rinse with open ended hose pipe to remove 85%of water dried with large soft drying towel polished with Auto Glym super resin polish with my rotary machine and polish removed with several microfiber cloths then sealed with Dodo Juice Rainforest rub wax! (5hrs worth of arm bashing)
  7. Good luck Gabriel, hope you win them. Well played Ian for helping a fellow Lexus owner out, top bloke!!
  8. When you fit an aftermarket head unit the radio reception is always crap, unless you find the Ariel lead and follow it till you find a black lead that come off it, this black lead needs a 12v power supply for the ariel to give the best radio reception!
  9. get the pics up mate, lets see what this mate of yours did to a nice car!
  10. I'd say that your wheel wobble is due to a sticking caliper! Had the same prob myself last year and had the calipers freed off and all was good again.
  11. Ok, i see where your coming from now, i thought that you were placing them on the underside of the door, as that's where i have mine fitted. What type of leds are you going to fit that can project light from the mirrors to the ground?
  12. Dean, your puddle lights are best connected to the red marker light in the door!
  13. A quick couple of vids i made a few weeks ago after i did the rear footwell led light to match the fronts. http://youtu.be/I8H-P48nG5A http://youtu.be/FdcTowPyhLY
  14. What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^ then a wash down with car shampoo, dry then a coat of polish to make them shine and a coat of good wax to seat it all in, plus it will make cleaning them half the work next time!!!
  15. Do they really, my bad thought they were all the same...
  16. That the wrong blub type for is200 front fogs mate, you need this type fitting. But i wouldnt bother, as they dont project enough forward light for fogs, if you want to run them as DLR's then thats fine just not as fogs!
  17. The is200 aerial is a powered one, so it has a 12v power supply to it, so that may have come adrift, also if its a non lexus head unit then find the black aerial cable follow it back into the dash to find a thin black wire that come from it and feed it 12volts and you'll be golden...
  18. I fitted white smd,s and I can dim the dash clocks!
  19. Does no-one jab a screw driver into the can and use that to leaver them off?
  20. Please shoot this is200 owner!!!!!
  21. I'd say the oblong box thing is for the rear reversing sensors, as for the other no idea as i have an is200.
