  1. For the heater controls you'll need this type, But if you replace the stock bulbs with these most people find them not bright enough! Theres a tut on another forum that works so much better, but its a PITA of a job to do but well worth it. This is what you'll end up with with that better mod. Changing the radio will be a royal pain in the ar$e as its leds are soldered to the board. If you look at the pic below i belive that they are the samest smd led in the pic lol feck that!!! Someone has do this mod and swapped them to blue and it looked spot on, but id never have the patience to do it.
  2. Yes and no, you need to fit spacers to them so they clear the boot hinges.
  3. Its is a very easy mod to do, and made a whole lot easier if you have the spoiler with the brake light in it to feed the fogs. Good job btw Ray. :winky:
  4. Wicked write up mate, can never have too many pics with write up in my book. I did the skyline brake / tail light mod and i now have 6 brake lights lol, looks good mate do it, hardest part to find are the bulb holders to convert the fogs, check out ebay or scrapyards for a set.
  5. So its not smoking its steaming! Well tis the season to be jolly, fal la lala la la, fal la lala.......
  6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LIGHTNING-ADAPTER-CONVERTER-8-PIN-TO-30-PIN-iPhone-5-iPad-4-Mini-CHARGER-SYNC-/200848906656?pt=UK_CE_MP3Access_RL&hash=item2ec38719a0 Sub £4 uk aswell.
  7. I have something in the garage, ill take a snap of it and post it up to see if its the same as what your after.
  8. No prob Petayv8, glad i could help. get some pics up.
  9. All i did was connect then up the the red door makers, i did change the red door markers to leds also, so this could be why the fuse blew but i dought it would have blowen just by adding the leds! Did you test the leds before you fitted them as i bought loads of sets and the come wrongly wired up (red - / black +) i'd check they work off the car with a spare car batt or some other 12v power supply just to be sure.
  10. Ah with you now, no mate got clear ones, wouldnt wont that yellow type not my bag. There was a guide on how to make stock clear into the yellow JDM style using a sheet of yellow photography film. Just take them all to bits and cut a yellow disc the same size of the lens and re-fit, au voila yellow JDM fogs.
  11. Please please please can you change how hyper links work, as i'v just spent the best part of typing a huge reply on a topic only to have it deleted as i clicked on a chuffing hyper link that opened in the same tab and when i came back to my post it was gone!!!!!!!!!! It cant be rocket science to do, so can you please change how they work....
  12. I believe that the Lexus is200 and the 300 have the same fog lights. Don't they?
  13. Yeah i tried leds before and they look nice but give chuff all light out. I just pushed them in the fog light hole, as they will sit in the plastic wheel well and belly pan, there's really no where for them to go.
  14. I'v never known HIDs to get as hot as standard bulbs! Had them in my headlights for years without any probs, so don't foresee any probs with the fogs.
  15. Well with the price of hid kits sub £20 now on ebay i thought id get a set for the front fogs as they were the only standard bulbs left on the car lol. 50/50 Both done. Both 5000k as one looks blueish in the last pic.
  16. Ah so your from the land down under, thats a shame about the hids. As for glue, when you've fitted the halos and put your lights back together, they then go back in the oven this will re-soften the factory glue and thats what you seal them with. The only advice i'd say that may not be mentioned is when you first split the lights, work the glue level (flatten out the peeks) so that you have a good chance of getting a waterproof seal.
  17. Hi and welcome to the club. I dont have angel eyes fitted, i went for the Audi style as their easier to fit and replace. Theres a great youtube video showing installation of a set of AE's, as for which type CCFL or LED, CCFL give a better look in my opinion but can die quickly, led's would last longer but as their individual leds if one go's then it will look patchy (see why i didnt go for them lol). And colour choice would be best matched to your head lights, if your keeping them standard then 4300 is the colour you need, but with hids kits for the IS200 @under £20 i'd be changing the lights to hid, for under £50 you could do driving, main and fogs to hid. Heres that vid. http://www.youtube.c...ed/-3EQ4iCbrTc
  18. Arm yourself with a torch, MEATY screwdriver or pry-bar and your 2 cut rods. Lean backwards into the boot and lie in the boot looking upwards, you will find the place where the rods/springs are housed at either side of the hing mech (see pic) Using the pry-bar or screwdriver lever out the bar/spring and place your cut rod in the gap, then release the spring/bar. (see pic) (pics supplied by OJC member dodgydave)
  19. The springs/ bars cant be adjusted, but you can help them by placing a 5mm bolt in the groove where they sit to help with the opening on the remote boot pop! Have a look here matey, http://www.**********club.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=6530&highlight=boot+viagra&page=7
  20. Try this link http://my.is/forums/f103/altezza-is200-how-make-factory-nav-screen-work-w-o-factory-hu-solved-380675/
  21. I believe it's the same motor just runs in reverse to pump to the headlights, so with that in mind you hear the pump when you wash the front screen but nothing when you push the headlight washer switch, so sounds like the switch is dead/ not connected or the wires come off or broke somewhere along its path to the pump/motor.
