  1. Cheers Red-lex, ill have a look at them.
  2. Hey Red-lex what ipod dock is that, and have you run it through a grom kit? If so, did you have any probs with doing so, i cant find any docks that work with it so far!
  3. You'll have to remove the radio & the A/C unit in one, split them as they are attached together with plates. Then there a few screws to remove on the back of the A/C unit to albe you to take off the back cover, them you'll find the bulbs.
  4. No radio code needed matey :winky:
  5. Got myself a set of orig bulb holders, so gonna be doing the quad tail light/break light mod next week, weather permitting lol. Also gonna take my feeds from the spoiler break light and number plate lights, saves having to run wires from the rear cluster up the boot hinge, keeping it all behind the boot lid cover, nice and tidy. :P
  6. Hi Chelsea-B, sorry to hear your having car probs. Cant realy help with the engine side of your probs, but i did do a FIX for the bonnet catch http://www.lexusowne...=1 Hope this helps you in some way. Jomo.
  7. Burn them slower! I'v played loads of home written cdr's in my IS200 and always burnt them @x4 speed without any probs. HTH
  8. Try a cd lens cleaner, error1 = unable to read cd!
  9. If it does anything at all it will be a fluke. Basically Err3 signifies that the changer mechanism has become jammed. The problem is that even if you successfully manage to take it apart and unjam it, it will still sit there flashing Err3 because the detected error has been stored in the EEPROM on the mainboard. Essentially the only way to cure it is know exactly how and where the error is stored and replace whatever chip with a known working one or have the ability to reflash the existing one. It's just unfeasible. I had my one apart when it finally Err3d after 12 years and despite going through every part of the mechanism setting it right it would still keep flashing Err3. It even does this if you completely disconnect the changer sensors and drive motors so the error must be stored on the board somewhere. Even with my electronics experience I couldn't be bothered with the hassle so just went aftermarket. Strange that, as i had the error3 and took mine apart, re-alined the mech put it all back together and works fine, thats over 2 years ago now? And it never gave the error3 flashing or not afterwards.
  10. +1 for the white, blue look a bit chavy to me (waits to get flamed!) Plus i find it hard to read the blue at night.
  11. Speak to Stav on here, he's your man to make all your Sat-Nav dreams come true.....
  12. The misses had her rear bumper done off her Celica for £200 after she backed into a rock the size of a Tesco warehouse!!
  13. I still had my old Nokia N95 8Gig, but although I could pair with it I had no success in transferring the contacts when inserting the sim card from the iPhone for the IS-F, although I'm sure I managed it from the Nokia for my IS250 SE-L. Maybe it's me Are you sure your contacts where stored on the sim card before you placed it into the Nokia? You maybe transferring a blank contacts list?
  14. The problem lies with the iphone, not with the car/age or model. The iphone's the worlds worst at sharing!
  15. Today if got around to fitting my white LED puddle lights and red door lights. Both are the same just white for puddle lights and red for edge of doors. From "the bay" about £4 -£5 for 2 white 2 red inc P&P. They are both attached with the 3M tape already fitted, power is taken from red door marker light, just cut the wires and soldered them back together and covered with heat-shrink. Sorry 'bout iphone pics! Here's an idea of where i placed the strips. There's room so that they dont touch anything when you close the door! Was thinking of doing the same to the rear doors but was unsure if by wiring them the the front doors with the rest of the LED's would i be putting too much through the orig door wires? Comments welcome. (be kind lol) Reply With Quote
  16. Did you replace yours with LEDs? If you did then maybe some need to be turned round to get them to work, as they have a + & - side unlike filament bulbs! Here's mine.
  17. 22. Nice strut brace Barry, where did you get it from? Oh and by the way, CLEAN THOSE WHEELS! lol nice motor.
  23. Really don't think that you switching the button's over caused the error3! Try removing the stereo and split it from the a/c unit, open the top panel on the stereo and see if theres a cd stuck?
