I got the plate with my surname, i couldn't get hold of a plate for my nick name, also the name goes for me and my dad who drives the car now and then... The reg plate design i was looking for something with the Lexus Logo instead of GB, i am de-badging the car as some vandal nicked the (L) logo off my boot lid n took the IS 200 sign, (which i found on the floor), but in the process of this they scratched the boot lid where the logos were :megaangry: now it's booked in Sat Morning at my mates garage who's goona sort out the boot lid... (not costing ought tho :P :P )

Hey Rob... The are really nice.. mmmmmmmm will go with the color of ur car... I'm looking into buying some next month now.. probably go for 18" i'm realy interested in the Kahn's RS-S series... then again the RS-C 2-piece wheel looks good too Kahn Wheels.. i've seen them on Audi TT, but not on a Lexus yet (maybe the 1st) B) B) , just waiting for this bad spell of weather to pass (roll on sunshine) B) B) , then down to the auto shops...

Lexus Logo Reg Plate I have just bought a private reg plate for my IS ;) ;) , while browsing the LOC Gallery i saw the above reg plate with the Lexus logo on it... Has anyone got an idea if this is available from the dealers or will i have to get a similar logo created?? Thanks...

Hi GRiM, Glad u got the lights in one piece, bad luck about the customs charge... they like to get their fare share!!! just asking if n when possible you take some piccies, can u take one a normal light fitted n the new light fitted (as before n after joby) just so we can get an idea of how much difference in looks there is... As Matthew said, it usually says so in the insurance documents pack, in the event of an accident what that particular insurance company regulates to... then again just ring up your inusrance company and have word with them (some companies are ok, others don't wana know you)...

Sorry to hear about what's happend, but main thing is your fine, cars come and go, but people..... As far as i am aware insurance companys work around the trade value of the vehicle and not the retail value....

well, as one of my front discs is a little wapped, i orderded some EBC Slotted Grooved Brake Discs - Front and EBC Greenstuff Pads - Front Monday and i picked them up yesterday got them pretty cheap too, going to get them fitted after work, (might do them myself)... Have any of you who have changed your front discs know whether the bearings are attached to the discs?? It just got mentioned in a conversation with someone yesterday

i went to halfords over the weekend, i didn't find any Meguirs stuff, but i saw the Zymol product there.. Zymol polish/wax thing in a light green stuff??? Zymol clear wax/wash thing in a dark green stuff?? any idea on these Zee?

My mate at my local gaage, he's got one, it's imported UK Spec, tell you what tho it's one F****** Fast Motor, we clocked it at 167mph on the M1, his brothers got an Impreza on `W` plate, we cleaned it out... :arrrggg-matey: :arrrggg-matey: (watched the petrol needle go from F to E tho..... )

I will be coming up to the 70K service in a few thousand miles, just rang Lexus Bradford & Lexus Leeds : Bradford - 70K Service :- £105+vat & Free C/Car Leeds - 70K Service :- £135+vat & Sort the insurance out for C/Car (They do not accept LOC Gold Discount, going to ring Lexus Sheffield tomorrow - they do) i asked what was involved, Lexus Leeds said the standard oil + filter with the brakes check n he something about a flush and injector cleaning aswell and that Lexus Bradford don't do this, but they recomend it to be done... Has anyone heard of this or had it done? your views on this please... Thanks...

Hi, i've got the same kit as yours ABT and have had mine lowered 35mm with H&R springs only, it's been 2 months now since it's lowering no problems in scraping or bumps, even with my mates sat in car as well, ride not bad either, you get the odd feel of the bump in the road, but i'm happy with it... it looks well sweet driving around in it.. B) B)

Hi Is-Chiqz You'll be lucky to get it for undfer £300, but maybe just a bit over £300 upto £350 no more... (it comes painted any colour)

My mates got an IS200 Sport Vreg 2000 model, he hasn't got a brake light on his spolier I have seen a few around town "V -reg W-reg & X-reg" IS200 Sports without the brake lights in the spoiler.. So i reckon it could be around 2002 when they came out

Objection Overuled!!! "Sorry your Honour -- Pleading NOT Gulity :P :P " Fair enough mate, it's just when i went to Lexus ****** to pick up a Lip spoiler their was an IS300 in the outside the Entrance, i noticed this spoiler on it, I enquired about this rather than the Lip spoiler, got told it's for the IS300, but it will fit an IS200, so i got one of those instead... (shame they don't bloody accept Gold Discount, but i got it with 10% trade discount haha) ;) ;)

Hi chip, that spoiler is different from the one that comes on the standard IS Sport, this one was made for the IS 300, i bought one for my car, as it has a clear brake light fitted in it to. Cost is around £240 Sprayed, then £40 for the brake light and £30 for the fitting kit (for £280 for spoiler+light, u'd think you'd get a fitting kit, but NO, Xtra) i didn't bother with fitting kit, one of the lads at local garage sorted it out for me.. ooops not forgetting the VAT....
