  1. You getting the "Walkey Talkey" fitted in it aswel???
  2. So which day has been agreed/decided for the meet please????
  3. Mine used to do that when i first bought it, but gradualy it's fine now, has'nt done it in the the past month, (now that i've mentiond it'l probably start again ).. I alwys waited for the ABS n Traction light to go out before starting it, it seems logical for engined to get everything in order before you fire ignition.....
  4. I agree, but then again, sometimes it depends on the colour of the car, it'l suit a black car, but won't look good red or silver... what colour is your car Tricky?
  5. I am from Wakefield, work in Huddersfield Uni..
  6. Weekday Please, not Friday night tho!!!!
  7. hi, Myself & Si, both ordered ours from Autotoys, it fits perfectly in the existing interior and you've got the choice of having it as adouble din, or a single din with a pocket to go below the stereo.. and you don't need to make any modification as the heated seat buttons n traction control gadgets (well the full small unit) this attach to the facia plate, the color and the plastic is a good match... I had mine installed will be taking pictures of it over the weekend so i'll post em... Imi
  8. I'd like to attend the meet too but i can't make it on the weekend tho...
  9. I was wondering the same thing, it'l be a good thing at least to know where everyone is from, who you might live close to someone who is already a member on here...
  10. Theres this quy that one of my mate knows, he's just put 21" deep dish (3 piece wheel) on his B**(can't write the make, LOC Legal reasons ) they were big, got them delivered from the states, only problem is that when if he has any problem with em, i.e puncture then he has to get them sorted from the states again...... But your car is phat, well cool mate... like to see some other pictures of it...
  11. Easy on tiger..... thought 19 n 20 are big...... Cool....................
  12. Hi all, I've just managed to get a few piccies ov my car uploaded, what do you guyz reckon?? ;) ;) Imi Lexi - 1 Imi Lexi - 2 Will be taking some better ones again with the car cleand n polished up when the weather decides to look on the bright side...
  13. Know the feeling B) B) .... good to hear that, what color is it then??
  14. I have just put them into mine (2 weeks ago), they are good and not that expensive, i have noticed a good clear quality light in them compared to the originals... End of the day it's how much your willing to pay... these are worth the money!! :) :)
  15. Mine does it too, but not always though, one thing i realized is that when you are driving the car at average speed for a while it'l crunch in occasionaly, but after when you have given a bit of boost (say on a dual carrage way 60 to 80 mph) then the gear change will be smooth when you return to the avarage speed. QUOTE (simonskippy @ Nov 4 2002, 08:08 AM) I used to have the same problem but managed to get it cured!!! It never did it again when I had had the Supercharger fitted, the gear change is soo much smoother now. I have no idea why this has happened or whether it was just coincidence. Si Probably something to do with the power level as says 'Si'...
  16. Nice... alot more appealing to the eye, I like the 3d navigation viewing of the cars inside and outside...
  17. Anyone driven the VW Golf GTi-TDi yet? This is one fast diesal car... I'd have one but it's bit small for my liking..
  18. I've got a V 2000 reg, and i'll get around late 20s/eraly 30s, but it's different mpg when filling up from different petrol stations... Bu major factor is your own driving technique, i realy don't give to much drilling in the 1st and 2nd gears, some people do, one of my mates got an IS200 on V plate and he's always complaiing about the fuel consumption, but he's got a heavy foot.. You have to look facts that it's got 2.0 Ltr engine, a big enough body n it's rear wheel drive... pushing rather the pulling.. It'l have to do..... ;) ;) ;)
  19. Me, Once every weekend, it's a pain, cos it's dirty again after 5 mins of driving... Looks well nice when it's washed tho.. and yes washed mine in the rain tooooooooo.
  20. Simon, I have ordered the same one as yours from Autotoys... just another question any idea how long delivery takes? If it arrives in this wek or early next week then hopefully i'll be able to get mine sorted out as well... Got the Kenwood KVT- 920 DVD and Pioneer Minidisc head unit, and soom "BOOM BOOM" in the boot to fit...
  21. "Starsky & Hutch", They had a wicked car, fast & slick, i had a toy model of it... :shruriken: :shruriken:
  22. I orderd the late brake light spoiler, cost around £245 + £40 for the clear brake light, it comes already sprayed in that price... Only one problem though!! The fitting kit for this spoiler is and aditional £35+VAT.. You'd think after paying £300 for it, they would supply you with the fitting kit.. When i went to pick mine up from Lexus Bradford, (did it cheaper than Lexus Leeds), there was a guy with an GS300 already arguing about the fiiting for a similar spoiler for his car. customer and the employee both red with anger...
  23. found the fault, the drivers side front abs sensor is broken, the wires iside the rubber coating are so delicate, that any slightest pull and the brake.. It's ok that the garage is paying for the replacement sensor...... :D :D So a word of warning to be carefull when getting your cars lowered about these sensors..
  24. Ifraz.. How do you like the replacements then? Any major noticable difference ??
  25. "A guy in Austria ordered this one from Canada..." Leexus, The problem with that fasica plate is you can only add the traction control buttons in slot to the right of the plate, and not the heated seats buttons as the their is no insert clips for them, they have to be re-located somewhere else in the car... The one from autotoys is the right replacement, as simonskippy ordered it, and i have just placed an order too.. thanks...
