  1. (If I have read your 'grump' right) There are settings down the left hand side which show up when you are on 'new/latest' posts which you can change to suit how you view new content ....... I discovered them after finding that posts I had replied to weren't showing up :o, thought there was something wrong but all I needed to do was change it suit :D What I still dont like is the fact that when viewing a thread you still have the banner in the right, why can we not have full screen like we did on the old site? I am getting used to the rest of it but I still dont like this bit :megaangry: :megaangry: Andy
  2. You can see the difference here http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=72466&hl=&fromsearch=1 At the end of the day it is your car and your choice ;) Andy
  3. First of all I believe the MOT laws are changing from March this year and they state that all cars originally fitted with a catalytic converter must have them fitted for the test :( If you really want to remove them you can buy a complete de-cat manifold on Ebay and you will need spacers for the O2 sensors. Andy
  4. Whilst I like the design and colouring I do not like the fact that when in a topic it is Squashed because of the banner on RHS!! Latest posts does not update as well especially as the timeline seems to be rather long so I have to mark community read each time :eerrrmm: On the main Forum page I dont like the fact that the banner is again too wide on the RHS. Grump over ;) Andy
  5. I know where you are coming from, I am not head over heels about it myself Probably not going to be on here much now either :( Andy

  7. Are you looking for uprated or standard spec? Andy
  8. Glad to hear she is back from the dead B) enjoy :winky: Andy
  9. If you are just having the blades cut and swapping the old internals over you will not need to reprogramme the keys as they will already work :) Andy
  10. I doubt it as the blade cut is slightly different from the master. Andy
  11. This is something I have not tried as when programming from our computer we always do Master . Will look into this. :winky: If he flashes the ECU there is no reason that would stop him from programming your old key as well. Do not purchase from the USA as the transmitter frequencies are different from UK cars. Andy
  12. Hi Andrew, the three button remote is for RX models with power opening rear door, if your RX does not have this feature and you have a black 2 button key, then it shoud be a master key. FYI the valet keys are grey and do have a transponder otherwise the car would not start. Andy
  13. How cheap do you want it? A new one is about £42.00 inc VAT and they come painted. :winky: Andy
  14. You are indeed correct :) as they are the same caliper on the 99-00 IS and 99-00 GS ;) Andy
  15. LOL, so if I see you running........................ :winky: Andy
  16. It's a fixed price from any Lexus dealer under the Lexus Essential Care programme. Essential Care only applies to certain Lexus vehicles over 5 years old. Andy I appreciate that Andy, but £280 is the price for the job on GS300/430 02/05 so my assumption was that the car was in that sort of age bracket (even though I know that one should not really make assumptions) My bad, got fixated on RX450 for some reason LOL. Andy
  17. Steve, PM me your frame or chassis number and I will check it for you ;) Andy Cheers Andy but read my next post LOL, I did wonder but I thought Steve woundn't do that, would he?? ;) Andy
  18. Steve, PM me your frame or chassis number and I will check it for you ;) Andy

  20. You could always go down this route and have it cut to match then just swap your electronics over. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/lexus-blank-Key-3-button-IS-GS-RX-LS-/120816639202?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Safety_Security&hash=item1c213b9ce2 Andy
  21. My EPC just calls it Arm assembly, Rear suspension, NO.1 LH :( Part number is 48710-30190 and is the same from 97-05. Andy
  22. They are good :) Here's my old beast with LS430 18" wheels on it ;) http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=71807 Andy
  23. If it has 17" wheels they are 225/45x17 front and 245/45x17 rear :winky: If it has the 18" option they are 225/40x18 front and 255/40x18 rear. Andy
