  1. 35 all round on my 2003 running 17"s. took the guide from this website and have had no issues. 33 was a bit too bouncy.
  2. The LPG and petrol tank should run on different senders. How did they wire the LPG in? I wouldn't expect the petrol fuel gauge to drop when running on LPG. The LPG should either be on a separate gauge in the car or you should have a gauge on the tank.
  3. With an old or new battery my is200 sometimes starts first hit, others it take a few seconds, then on the odd occasion I need to try twice. Battery and coils checked out ok. Gremlins me thinks, so I'm going to live with it rather than spend mega bucks worrying about it.
  4. Eurocarparts quote 102 per coil for oem. Japparts quote 30 for non oem and call for price on oem. £160 sounds excessive. It's unlikely hat all 6 need replacing at once, so I would ask someone to test each and tell you which one is knackered.
  5. Just filled up at 147.8 per litre for super unleaded. That's over £100 for a full tank. Stopped at 50.... Generally average 320 per tank mixed driving
  6. In fact http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=76298
  7. Jj I looked at his myself and there are a few threads around here on the subject. If you get one without an airbag, then I think you will need a resistor to stop the airbag light. There's also rumour that cars with steering wheel airbags as standard must retain the feature to stay Mot compliant. Perhaps a call into your local station would help clarify before uyou go to any great expense.
  8. Did mine with rudimentary tools. I just taped a couple of extension bars together with the socket head to make sure I didn't leave anything down the bottom of the deep recess. 30 mins for all 6
  9. I second that. The bracket on the oem head unit are like razor blades to the rubber coated dash
  10. It runs vertically thought the big black airbox. Look for the Lexus logo on the airbox and you will see a clip at the front and back of the box. Undo those and lift the panel out vertically
  11. Sorry, let me be more specific. What I meant was The snow and trc buttons do not have LEDs in them which light up when selected. You get the notification on the dash only. I was wrong re heated seats. Haven't used them for so long forgot the led indicator
  12. You can also try for http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.php?make=TOYOTA%20-%20LEXUS&model=IS200-IS300-ALTEZZA
  13. The tec, snow and heated seat buttons are not back light.
  14. Just as an fit, in my sportcross, only the light in the back of th car comes on. The light behind the rear view mirror is a map reading light only
  15. Change all at 60k or every 7 years according to my book and experience. They suggest water pump changes at the same time as it's easier to do with all the covers and belts off.
  16. Best to fill up and check all possible avenues. Each actuator is around £150 to replace....
  17. Granite sky, it's got just the right amount of flake in it...and I may be a little biased
  18. They do come off with some gentle persuasion from the front, but tbh, if you want to be 100% safe, 20 mins with the car jack and you could remove each wheel and pop out from the inside.
  19. For manuals Snow button reduces throttle opening at given pedal travel and dampens the throttle response. It does work, but nothin other than a landie is ever going to be good in snow.
  20. http://www.japarts.co.uk £21 for a cap, 157 for actuator.... I was close. Phew!
  21. There's only 2mpg avg diff between the 200+300. Must admit am tempted to swap my 200 for a 300...the standard 150 bhp just doesn't feel pokey enough for me.
  22. From memory, the cover are around 20-30 new, the actuators around 150-175.. I'd break the fingers, then nab their pocket money...
  23. The smaller connecter is the power for the amp. . Just leave in it, or out. Doesn't make any difference
