  1. Do you have details on this new sub? May help other members in the future.
  2. I agree with Matt. There have been issues with the post counters in the past and the same could happen with this.
  3. Hope your company are paying for this? If they are then they should have seen the size of the bill and put broadband in for you.
  4. engine and gearbox will be fine for another 100k miles if services are done correctly. I would get the gearbox fluid changed. Suspension bushes/linkages can wear. I would try and test drive a lower mileage vehicle to compare.
  5. http://www.alldatadiy.com will be for US model but almost all the things will be the same.
  6. Is it going to be sold to the public Mat?
  7. Yes the belt should have been changed twice already. 63,000 mile intervals on your vehicle. Gearbox oil shouldn't need to be changed but I would do it every 100k miles. Either properly flushed or drain, fill, drive for 5 minutes and do it again. A single drain will only replace about 35% on the total fluid in the box. ONLY USE TOYOTA T-IV FLUID.
  8. On what car? Wiper motors are not directly connected to the washer pump.
  9. Take the car to a tyre shop and get them to have a look. Sounds like the tyres aren't fitting correctly and the air is escaping which in turn causes the tyres to come off. The tyres are probably already damaged and maybe the rims. Not what you want to hear but Dunlop sp3000s are not that good a tyre for the IS, sp9000s were standard fitment.
  10. Yes just unscrew/unclip the cover and whole module that has the battery/buttons etc comes out and can be fitted in another key.
  11. You would need to remove the electronics from the new key as it would detect that one. Keys need to be very close for the immobiliser to detect them so it may not work just being on the keyring. I would move the electronics from the old key to the new one. That way the new key will turn off the immobiliser, start the engine and remote unlock/lock the doors. The old key can then just be used for manually unlocking/locking the doors.
  12. You buying/brought an Altezza then Zee?
  13. Look to see where the steering column goes through the bulkhead near the pedals - try lubing the seal.
  14. You won't get fitting instructions as it's not a kit that is sold to the public and it isn't a Toyota product so won't just plug into the existing wiring loom however the wiring isn't that involved as it is basically stand alone so you just need a 12+ supply. The main work is cutting up the headrests to fit the screens and running the wires down through the seats.
  15. At least with the 3S-GE engine upgraded internals are available from TRD etc.
  16. The immobiliser will need to be programmed - keys are preprogrammed. The key is a transponder so it uses radio waves.
  17. Only takes a few seconds to check though, pads/calipers can move around and make noise - MOT wouldn't detect it.
  18. shock absorber is a possibility. To rule out the brake caliper/pads apply the brakes lightly when going over a bump to see if this stops/alters the noise.
  19. I would say it will cost around £23k Lexus are still trying to take market share away from the Euro manufacturers so will price lower. Good luck with the Merc, I think you will find it a bit bland compared to the IS.
  20. no problems with mine in the last few weeks never thought I'd say that about T-Mobile, even text messages arrive the same day you send them these days!
  21. If you do low mileage it shouldn't matter if you buy something with higher than average mileage as it will even out when you sell. Excess mileage lowers the price more than low mileage increases it.
  22. I would go with which one has the best warranty. Notebooks are not cheap to repair if things go wrong, you get what you pay for in this market.
