Too true... my last Ford experience started with me pushing a 12 month old sierra round Tesco car park within 3 mins of me owning it and ended with me selling it 7 months later after spending over a grand in repairs (without a doubt the worst car I have EVER owned)...good luck to ya Bison. Ford or Lexus?... I will take the Lex EVERY time ;) Apparently Ford now make some fairly reliable cars :o But the one you are talking about was made when MY sierra was (a few yrs before the scrap yard) or thousands of pounds keeping it on the road (Have you got full service history? All the bills? Have you bothered to look through them to see how much that fun car costs to keep going?) If you think the Lex was costly then come back in 12 months and tell us how much you have spent :winky:

Before buying the lex I looked at a few other makes and wasn't too impressed but yesterday I was driving past a jaguar garage and went in to have a quick look.... BIG mistake cuz I am now well smitten by the x type Gonna take the mrs through this weekend to have another look and arrange a test drive, although the jag is gonna have to be one special car for her to give me the go ahead (the IS200 is the only car she has ever got excited about... both her and my daughter love it) Anyone know how reliable the x type is? Being British made it can't be much good can it? Also how well is it likely to hold its value compared to lexus? Talk me out of it PLEASE
