  1. Amayama have what you need, if you don't mind ordering from Japan. Washer cap
  2. The pics are pretty big and hi-res if you zoom in on them. On my car it looks like the lighter coloured wire is on the left of the connector.
  3. 85382-53040-C1 is the one you need then. When it comes to ordering car parts. The Left or Right side is always determined by the viewpoint from the driver's seat, looking forwards.
  4. Blackcircles currently offering 15% off all CrossClimates until the end of the month. I'd imagine that would make them a fair bit cheaper than going to Lexus. Or, you could ask them if they'll match the discounted price and still get them there.
  5. Which side? Part numbers for both, in black. (I believe your car is black, right?) R 85381-53080-C0 L 85382-53040-C0 (Substitute C0 with C1 if your car is solid black)
  6. Well, you could try and sell it right here since the forum has a marketplace section. Lexus Cars For Sale Be sure to have a read through the rules to see the preferred selling template.
  7. If you have a Tesco filling station nearby, the E5/E10 price difference is only about 5 or 6p.
  8. Agree with Linas. Been running 245 rears for about 5 years now and it's just a better choice for a number of reasons. The slightly smaller sidewall doesn't affect the ride quality by any real noticeable amount, and as mentioned, a lot of understeer is dialled out and the car feels more neutral in corners. Also, the "hopping/skipping" that can happen when steering sharply on cold tyres, is eliminated. I used to experience this all the time when turning out of my driveway with OEM sizes. Upping the front tyre size to 235/40 (so 235F/255R) also has a similar effect, and I did this on my first IS250, but tyre choice & availability in the 255/40R18 size is very weak. Never mind the cost, it's actually quite hard to get a decent brand non-runflat tyre that's not an ageing design, or homologated for Mercedes or BMW cars. As well as cost savings, and more tyre choice, another positive of going with 245s, in my opinion, is looks. There's less disparity between how the front and rear tyres actually sit on the wheels. A 245 on the 8.5" rear wheel looks very similar to a 225 on the 8" front wheel, in terms of fitment or "stretch". Whereas, a 255 looks a bit much, and a bit balloonish compared to the front. At least for me it does. Anyway yeah, the only real downside is the speedo accuracy. I don't think it's particularly off by miles though. When driving to work I will quite often speed match and follow an HGV presumed to be doing 56MPH, and my speedo will be reading something like 61/62.
  9. If the "A/C" button is lit (green illumination), it's on. On cars without a navigation screen, it's a physical button on the dashboard. When the nav unit is equipped, it's toggled on/off via a digital button on the Climate screen. PS. For best results IMO, just leave it turned on all the time in auto mode and use the windscreen demister as and when needed.
  10. How often is it happening? I think I've experienced something similar a few times. Only a few times though. Like, maybe 5 times or fewer. After coming to a stop, it felt like the car was idling too low and about to stall before correcting itself. Whole event lasted maybe half a second, to a second before running normal again. Definitely not an ongoing heartbeat type thing. Internet research suggested it could be anything from a "normal" lean idle misfire - the ECU apparently leans out the mixture at idle to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. To, carbon deposits on the valves or other areas in the top end of the engine. Which, probably exacerbates the frequency of the idle misfire occurring.
  11. The Advance model was introduced for MY2011 as a replacement for the SE-i trim level. Equipment level is roughly equivalent to the SE-i, but an Advance has leather and navigation unit as standard.
  12. You're in luck. I had to replace a few bits of the parking brake assembly a couple of years ago, so I have all the required part numbers to hand. 🙂 Shoe - 46540-30021 (x4) Pin - 47447-10020 (x4) Spring - 90501-16118 (x4) Spring cap - 47449-30030 (x4) Spring, Tension - 90506-23052 (x2) Spring, Tension - 90506-14080 (x2) Quantities are assuming replacing everything on both sides. All parts are universal (left or right) apart from the tension springs. I ordered all of the above, assuming the worst, but ended up only needing a couple of the pins, springs, and spring caps for one side. I still have everything else BNIB, so I could hook you up with anything you need for cheap.
  13. Congrats on the new car. It definitely won't have a Bose audio system. The premium audio system option is Mark Levinson. Should be a logo next to the disc eject button, if your car has it. Agreed about the spark plugs. They ought to have been changed at least once by now. The radiator coolant is also supposed to be replaced at 100K miles.
  14. No. I think you have every right to be. A quick wash and vac alone would surely take at least 15-20mins. I don't know how time-consuming the hybrid health check is, but let's assume 5mins or so. That leaves about half an hour to change the oil and complete all the other checks. Possible, I guess, if a minor service. Especially if 2 people are on the job, but I'd have my doubts that absolutely everything was being inspected properly. If they're offering to complete a major 20K service in this time frame, I'd definitely call foul.
  15. Fuel prices near me have been on the rise for the past couple of weeks. E10 in the Edinburgh area now firmly back into the £1.65-£1.70 range most places.
  16. My car is due a service so I've been shopping around and noticed this deal on eBay. Service Kit Another 1.3L of oil would have to be sourced as only 5L is included, but all genuine OEM gear, for £50 delivered seems pretty good. Even accounting for having to buy another 2L of oil, that represents a saving of about £30 on LPD.
  17. Actually, that's right. You get a dashboard warning when the fob battery is low.
  18. Mobile phone masts, phones themselves, other RF equipment, WiFi etc have been known to screw with the signal.
  19. If your MOT is due around the same time, most of the extra visual checks in the full service, would be part of the test. That would just leave the brake fluid change to deal with.
  20. TOM'S make a kit for the 09-10 model. It can even be ordered pre-painted in 077. TOM'S Racing
