  1. Well i'm keen to see them, but i'm not going to wait up :winky: .
  2. I would think most motoring papers will have it covered straight after the show, so get up to the newsagents for a copy of Auto Express or AutoCar which are both weekly papers, or go on the Lexus GB site....well not unless the boys on here can beat them to it :winky:
  3. Wheels look great :) , calipers would look good in Gold B)
  4. Good old Auto Express, always on the ball :D , i would guess if any changes were made, it would be the front spoiler is a bit low for a production model....time will tell :)
  5. Well i've ordered a set of tyres for my Lexus, should get fitted at my place on Monday , i'll keep you posted if they are fast ,efficient ...and don't damage my rims . So far its all been very good, first i got an online price , then put in the order, they rang back to find out best day to come and fit them....all i have to do is look out the window in the warm and watch him :D .
  6. Have any of you guys used this company ? http://www.eventmobiletyres.com/4598.html
  7. In Auto Express, the rear number plate is now mounted between the lights and the front lower spoiler vents are different.
  8. I must have read another thread on the LOC with 2 shots of a yellow IS200 2.5L V6, i'll try find it later :)
  9. Auto Express are "on the ball ",as far as getting photos in advance of a cars being launched ,so i would say this IS the new model....time will tell at the Geneva motor show. I have a brochure guy going to the show, i've asked him to look out for a press pack CD's on the IS and GS :) .
  10. Auto Express have a photo of the new IS200, it looks similar to the Yellow car above, sorry my scanner broken, so you just have to buy a copy of the mag :D .
  11. "If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that Acme stuff, why didn't he just buy dinner?" So true... :D :D
  12. Ensure the airflow arrow on the filter points down (opposite to the arrow on the carrier). Insert the carrier back into the opening with the arrow pointing up and refit the panels to the filter housing and glovebox. That should be been re-written on the web site you took that from :winky: ← :winky:
  13. This is for one of the LS models, maybe some help :) ..... Fitting Stage 1:- Open the glovebox. At the rear there is a removable panel . Pull up the panel upwards and remove. Looking through the gap you will see another panel that can be pulled off. Note the up arrow which shows the correct orientation for refitting. Fitting Stage 2:- With the 2nd panel removed you can now pull out the filter in its plastic carrier from the housing. You may need to use pliers on the little tab to pull it out. Remove the old filter from the carrier. Fitting Stage 3:- Insert the new filter into the carrier, ensuring that the airflow arrow on the filter points down (to match the arrow on the carrier). Insert the carrier back into the opening and refit the panels to the filter housing and glovebox. Fitting Stage 4:- After replacement, push and hold the "OFF" button for the front air conditioning for more than 4 seconds to reset the air filter clogging data. Fitting Stage 5:- The "A/C FILTER RESET" appears on the multi-information display and a tone sounds to inform you that the data has been reset.
  14. Sorry to hear about Charlie, have you had him long ?.
  15. You have to admit that the Lexus designer are not sitting back on their arses, they have several concept cars doing the rounds, inc the sports LF-C or LF-A,plus the LX470 and LS420 (2006 ), all this and the GS , IS ready to roll ... lets just hope they are all to british tastes :) .
  16. Well i would think its the new IS200, it keeps cropping up on the net when searching for the new model ( or a shape very close to this ), mixed thoughts on its looks, i'm sure you boys will bring a few photo's back from the launch :winky: . I agree the back end looks very Mazda 6 :o .
  17. Welcome to the LOC...Enjoy your new motor :D .
  18. An update taken from the Lexus site.... "The New Lexus IS - World First The new Lexus IS has its world premiere at the Lexus press conference on 1 March at 12:15pm. The car will feature the first ever Lexus diesel engine. Pictures and information about the new car will be revealed at the time."
  19. I think with March just around the corner, we're going to see another drop in used car values :o .
  20. Welcome to the LOC :) , i've had my IS200 SE about 15 months,i bought it from an independent garage, saved about £1300 of the main dealer price, it had full Lexus history, so i contacted the dealer to confirm the service history, then once that was done i had a HPI history check done, this all checked out ok so i bought the car :D . My alloys had been refurbished before i bought the car, they had been done in silver all over, so no machined/polished rim to worry about, just a silver paint stick to touch up....if needed. My interior is the beige "oakham" trim, this can look shabby if not looked after, a set of Lexus over mats helps, but they to can get dirty very quickly...other than that i have no complants B)
