  3. You shouldn't have any problems, my gps receiver is fitted under the dash tray and it quite an old one, not one of the new really sensitive ones
  4. Hi Tony, I've had mine tracked a couple of times (at the dealer), and the steering wheel has always been very fractionally right afterwards, I should have the report sheets if you want copies

  10. Works really well, leaves the car completely streak free, great for quick washes Two things I don't like about it 1. It leaves a wax finish on the windscreen, which smeared abit when using the wipers. 2. It doesn't bead as well as normal polishes as it designed to get the water to run off to reduce the streaking

I have just had the two rear tyre on my IS replaced, when I was washing the car this weekend I noticed the garage (not Lexus) had put W rated tyres (Bridgestone Potenza 215x45R17) on not Z rated. Does anyone know if this is dangerous and is it likely to affect the handling as the car doesn't feel as stable (but it might be in my head) I just want to be clear if there a problem before I go in guns Blazing!!!
  13. I have a sat nav on a pda and the gps antenna is mounted under the dash trap and it works fine
  14. Dell Axim with Tom Tom and Seidio mount Advantages you get a GPS camera locator (poor mans Road Angel), and you also have got a PDA Disadvantage looks a little untidy on the dash
  15. The rears do need a couple of holes drilling, but you can't go wrong
  16. I would jump start another car, but you can buy jump leads that have surge protection built in, and I have seen a surge protector that you can clamp onto existing leads.
  17. i think they are the same fogs but the auto has slots in the back of the bumper which allows spray from the tyres to get onto the back of the fog light which causes corrosion

  21. 20p per mile and monthly allowance but someone mentioned you might be able to claim the difference between the mileage allowance and 40p per mile back against tax for the first 10k miles in a year. don't know if its true

  23. I average around 31mpg (motorway and town) on long runs 34 - 35mpg is usually. but bear in mind that summers here and the a/c now on that normal take 1 or 2 mpg.
