  1. You can't just copy it, you have to install it. In your Fonts folder, just click on 'File' then 'Install Font' and just browse to where you unzipped your fonts. The rest as they say, is a piece of peace. :D
  2. Try a few naughtier commands... pee dance something that rhymes with 'procreate' ;)
  3. South Coast or toss up between Australia/Canada.
  4. Also - some music CDs use the new Copy Protection technology on them. When you rip the music off them digitally to your PC, it scrambles it so that it plays with crackles and distortion. Might want to check the CD you're using.
  5. And the really good thing is... they look a cinch to clean! I had some 17" Imolas on my last car - they were a nightmare to clean!
  6. I don't like deep set alloys but these look the biz. Make sure you get some nice hi res pics once you get them fitted. :D
  7. Bugger... I only found out about the 'car in shop - no race for me' rule after I accepted Raz's race!
  8. Why don't you naughty Northerners come down to London and make a day of it? You could all take a coach... :P
  9. I used to have a Mk3 Golf. I crashed it and then bought the IS200 Sport. The rest as they say, is history! :D
  10. Hmm... difficult one this. A lot of my friends who get rental cars often drive them quite hard - whose to say this IS300 hasn't been treated differently? I'd get an independent mechanic to check it out for wear and tear and all the usual things first before making a decision.
  11. I used to work 11 hours a day. However, I use the term 'work' very loosely - I used to work on a helpdesk for a games company which provided servers for users to connect on. My 'work' basically involved me sitting on my **** all day, getting paid to play games to 'load test' our servers and as the company was part of BT, I had access to a 10mb pipe so I could download stuff all day and all night! :D
  12. Aha... I know this one. SOme programs like Nero burn mp3s as CDA audio - so that regular CD players can read the info on the CD. This is if you burn an 'Audio CD' rather than a data CD. IF you created a data CD, then you'd be able to fit at least 10 albums worth on your CDROM - this disc however will not be playable on the stock IS200 cd player. You will need to get an aftermarket head unit that plays mp3 CDs (that's a data CD which has mp3s on it rather than an audio CD which has had mp3s converted to CDA audio.
  13. Would love to come as it would be my first mini-meet but alas I'll be on the south coast that day trying to patch up a sea wall!
  14. I believe there are some DVD players which allow you to play DivX, avi and various other file formats but I haven't got any links at the mo. You could try Richer Sounds and see if they have anything. A chipped Xbox can play pretty much anything considering it's really a PC. I use that to play my downloaded stuff via the TV at the moment. I managed to download all episodes of Little Britain and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace via bittorrent! I am a happy chappy! :D
  15. If you're into your VCD, DivX shenanigans, you could do a lot worse than go here.
  16. Enjoy yourself mate - watch out for the vampires! :D
  17. Downloading a movie file (mpg) is not illegal. Downloading a copyrighted film is.
  18. I've updated the links so that Spybot is in there as well. And none of us should condone the illegal use of pirated software!
  19. After Billybandit's post, I'd thought I'd start a thread for linking to useful PC applications that I've found useful. Most are freeware/shareware but feel free to add to it. At the moment as I'm at work, I'll just put these down but will update when I get the chance... ZoneAlarm - Firewall software which works really well and is highly configurable. Spybot - Search & Destroy - Another firewall/spyware removal program. Can also sometimes find what Ad-Aware doesn't. Ad-Aware - Rogue spyware/cookie/dialler removal program which has free updates. Kazaa Codec Pack - This website contains downloads for the Kazaa Codec pack - bascially, if you have ever downloaded a movie file from the internet but haven't been able to play it because it's been encoded in some weird format, this codec pack will sort you out. This link also contains links to download RealAlternative and QuickTimeAlternative which are basically freeware versions of the respective players but minus the spyware.
  20. Good thing about it is that even with the free version, you can update it to include any new variations of spyware/diallers that are created. If you decide to purchase the product, it then upgrades it so that it runs in the background and stops the rogue cookies/diallers/spyware from even saving to your PC in the first place. :D
  21. You can also go to www.lavasoft.de and download 'Ad-aware' which basically scans your HD for any known spyware stuff including diallers and so forth. Good piece of software. Oh, and if you're on broadband, you need to get some firewall software. ZoneAlarm Personal is free and is probably your best bet.
  22. I want to get the looks right before I move onto the sounds - don't get me wrong, I don't want in your face - just 'quietly stealthy'. :D
  23. I'm sure it's real - the money is going towards Eurotunnel's selected charities. I don't think anyone would willingly make up an April Fool about that. Anyway, whoever buys it has got more money than sense - it's not as if you'd be able to hide it from the wife either! :D
