  1. Is there much of a difference between that super looking manifold and the "equal lenght primaries' one , in bhp? I must say it looks almost too good to fill with exhaust fumes! any more info on the release date?
  2. Sorry , I don't understand what u mean by that....? me stoopid..
  3. Sorry to bring this up again...could somone please tell me what makes of 6 branch manifold are available for the IS200 , either stainless or mild steel , and also if possible , who stocks them? Thanks in advance. PS I did try the search function , but didn't get anything satisfactory.
  4. Any more news on this? I'd be very interested too. Whether it was mild or stailess steel.....
  5. That looks almost too good to be true!! Anyone know any more about it? I must admit , I'm seriously tempted.............
  6. The other way to do it if you don't wanna take the clocks out is to go to the speedo output on the RHS of the gearbox upper , the wires are easily got to , that's where I took a feed to my Cruise Control. There's 3 wires I think , from memory...1 Battry Voltage , 1 Earth (Ground) , and 1 varying one , which is the speed signal. I had difficulty findind the pins in the dash to get a speed signal tbh , thats why I did it my way.... BTW , mine came from Conrad-Andersen , they're on the web , and provide a fitting service if required . I found them very helpful over the phone , I got 4 units from them for different cars...
  7. Anyone able to help? I tried searching , but to no avail.
  8. A simple question for those in the know , but is the Sport LSD a direct fit for the Standard non LSD equipped car? Or to put it another way , If I find a "Sport" , do I need anything to make the diff out of it fit my Standard IS200? cheers in advance.
  9. Fair play man , I will be modding mine as soon as my friendly engine tuner gets finished preparing cars for Redlines" Ten Of The Best" ;) , I/He/We will be replacing the manifold , building a proper insulated Airbox ,/Induction Kit , boring out the throttle body , Re mapping the ECU , and adding a Super AFC if so needed. He wants to turbo it(!) , but I want to stay N/A , like you do , and keep it useable.
  10. I've just fitted Goodridge ones , gotten from EARS Motorsport , fitting is a doddle , and fronts and rears are the same. The also include new sealing washers too. All you need is a 10mm , 19mm and 14mm ring and open spanners , and a flat screwdriver to prise out the pipe retaining clip. Just make sure you are competent to bleed the brakes thoroughly afterwards.
  11. I had the same thing , more of a nuisance than anything else , most noticeable when doing 3 point turns etc. As the man said copper grease should (and did in my case) sort it.
  12. It gives a pictorial description in the manual under the "Lamps , changing bulbs" section..
  13. Option A is what I went for , no problems from the fuzz. And the fact that the rears are dark means the car is dark inside , making the fronts look darker than they are. Very few people notice mine are different front to rear except when up very close. B)
  14. I may have found a source !! a mate works in a Car Shop a la D.Tweeks , and imports a lot of stuff from Jap Lland for the 4A0GE boyos , he reckons he can source me a hand made lsd for about E500 euro!
  15. Glad to hear they're good , I'll be fitting mine this weekend (hopefully) , along with my Stainless Steel Hoses......Rib-Cracking Retardation , here I come!!
  16. And you're sure they have the IS type? 'Cos mine arent a standard 21w bulb .... Thanks , btw. :)
  17. I got the spoiler from this company in the states , also the eyelids . The spoiler is quite flimsy , so I filled it with Expanding Foam , to give it some substance , then bonded it to the roof /c-pillars with windscreen sealer.
  18. Cheers for the comments gang , I meshed the centre intake , and widened the outer ones beside the Fogs , then meshed them also , yes it has the lip spoiler Steve , Didn't get orange bulbs (yet!) , lets just say there was standard bulbs , a small paint brush and some orange paint involved , The lamps were ReChromed as opposed to repainted , by a chroming Firm here in Ireland , Trust me it looks nicer in the flesh/metal/plastic/whatever, Duncan wins the prize for seeing the "I EAT BEEMERS" on the plate , 1st prize is a week in Iraq , 2nd prize is 2 weeks in Iraq! :P
  19. Sorry Mat , I don't follow ...Are the Sport and standard dampers different , or the Konis and Bilsteins very different??? Thanks for the help anyway gang. :)
  20. BTW , anyone notice what's written across the bottom of my number plate? :D
  21. Cheers mate , the lamps are actually rechromed , and the spoiuler came from America I'll post the site when it comes to mind....
  22. are "Sport" dampers the same as standard ones ? I've got the -30mm Eibachs , but reckon the car needs 'firming up' now in the damping control. I've only used Konis on other cars , what's a nice set to go with the springs I have? ie not too much firmer?
  23. And here's a pic of the rear , with the upper roof spoiler...
  24. Standard front bumper given a "TTE" ish look , with the front lamps dark chromed , and the orange bit gone from the indicators...
  25. Oh dear , don't think I could listen to that! Anyone got any other makes of Diff ? Cusco mebbe?
