  1. I'd probably go for the IS300 too, I was reading some of the US sites, can't remember which now, and they have IS300's pushing 500bhp and over - it's frigging crazy - they were talking about modding until the car was quicker (so they said) than an M3! I'm hoping to move to the USA to work in the next 18 months so if that happens I'll probably pick up an IS300 as they're cheaper over there.....
  2. Vegas was awesome, just a shame Britney got divorced when she saw me walk past (it was about a five minute walk from our Hotel!!)... If you ever go check out the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay, awesome and finally fulfilled my dream of partying with porno stars :D Load's happening on the Strip on New Year's, we started off in an English bar for the UK New Years then made our way up the strip from the Stratosphere end, they had a live show with Paris Hilton, Metallica, Puddle of Mudd, Ashanti and other celebs, but we made our way up to Bellagio and spent it up there.... Plane got cancelled so I managed a few extra days partying - shame!!! There are loads of Lexus motors over there, the RX is in abundance (quite a few with massive chromes) but I saw a few LS430's, loads of GS's and ES's (I think) and one IS300 in Granite Sky (yeah baby!). Think I saw an SC430 as well but it's all turning into a haze now..........
  3. Still here mate, just recovering after the hard new year - still on Vegas time so sleeping through the day and partying through the night :D
  4. Congratulations! All the best for you and the family!
  5. Looks great mate, you do realise you're going to be responsible for all the accidents caused when people are craning their necks trying to figure out just what went past them ;) I was out earlier this morning and couldn't believe all the people checking the car out, can't figure out why as I've only had the windows tinted and it looks pretty standard, maybe they think I'm famous?! Before the front tints it didn't seem that bad..... Yours is gonna destroy 'em dude - love it :D
  6. Cheers dude, I took the chance to do a bit of xmas shopping - usually wait til the 24th so I'm a bit early this year :D I'm only about 10 miles from Notts anyway so will be there next time you guys have a meet, might tempt me to get some more mods done
  7. Cheers Ifraz, remind me to trust everything you guys say in future - I walked into Bulwell from you know where and I think my old man's frozen off!!!! You weren't lying about the cold in Notts!!!
  8. checked the PIAA website and bought a Red LED nose for Rudolph
  9. I have one setup here but it's stone age compared to you guys, it's an old 802.11b 11Mbps setup, with an Alcatel AIO AP & Avaya Card... The range can be affected by the walls and other 2.4Ghz devices in the house, have you got any DECT phones or anything like that as that can cause issues.. Also remember, the ranges quoted on the box are usually line of sight with no objects in the way - a good brick wall or two can slash them dramatically - when you say the range is pants though, what range are you getting? I can go and sit outside round the back of the house (it's an old house with thick walls) and the signal goes through at least three walls and works okay (at 1 or 2 Mbps)... Did you manually try other channels etc? Also remember that WEP can also degrade performance, but I'd rather take the hit than leave my network wide open...
  10. Broke My Wheels :( It then started to snow and
  11. Mine's all done, looks well :D Very happy with the service, can't say the name of the company but thanks !!
  12. friendly ghost who'd been sent to help him
  13. I sometimes think people get the same sort of idea about mine - don't know if the number plate has anything to do with it - it ends with PCP !!! When I get the front tints done tomorrow that should really push it over the edge :)
  14. Hello Iain, welcome to LOC mate, nice choice of color ;) For the bulbs, I've just fitted X-White bulbs to mine, Zee did a group buy on them a while ago.. They're similar performance to the PIAA's but I think someone said these were slightly better? Much whiter and Steve on here said they're the closest thing he's seen to HID's on his..... If you've got the cash you could always fit a HID kit but that's more involved whereas these bulbs are a straight swap out...
  15. Aye, only fitted mine this weekend and much better than the stock bulbs...
  16. Bugger, wish I'd thought of that at the time... I'd had a few shandies so all I could say was "Get your rat out........" D'oh!
  17. Thats the time frame he gave me. But believe me the time goes quick and this time of year you don't want to open the windows anyway. Suppose it stops me going thru the KFC drive through - got to be good for my diet ;) Only about another 10 stone to go!!! Who was it that found *********** then as he must have done loads of Lexus's / Lexii by now then? There's even a gay little pink Nova he did which drives round Ripley every night with all the logos on the car - as long as he doesn't make my IS200 look gay or pink I'll be a happy chappy :) references to gold discounting company removed ;)
  18. Must have been better than up here and only 8 miles away!!! We don't get guns in Ripley though mate, we just get mingers (I've been drinking since 7 and they still look rough!) I think all the nice girls either came down your way in Notts or they went to Derby or Mansfield - closest I got to trapping tonight was a girl asking if I'd done jury duty with her
  19. Oooh Claire no, I just pressed that and got some naked blokes I'm gonna have to make my way over gold now and look at the bird of the day thread! The xmas tree we got this year was massive though, haven't seen one like it in our house before though!
  20. Have a good one, I've been out tonight but it's been dead round here (Ripley) - usually the last Thursday before xmas is sniding but about 40 people in the club so didn't bother :(
  21. I had mine done in the wintery months, so was told no use of windows or heated rear windows for two weeks until the film was settled down. Two weeks Good job I'm away not long after she's done then :winky:
  22. I didn't say this but..... Q: What have Michael Jackson and Saddam Hussein got in common? A: They both like to squeeze themselves into small holes. From Popbitch today :)
  23. Yeah I've seen on here Matt that you all really rate this fella, £50 for the fronts is a steal.. I'm getting the 50% on the fronts - is that what you've gone for Billy?? Matt, how much does it affect your visibility out of the car at night? Reason I ask is that I can hardly tell the difference looking out the rears at night whereas they look much darker when you're outside, I guess that's the point but just wondered if the film does the same quality job??
