  1. And why do you ask then, when you anyway know what is to do?? :P 400BHP isn't safe any more on the IS200 you would have to take care very well and as said there shouldn't be any original part in the IS any more. If you want to stay with a Lexus.... either you plant the IS300 engine or the LS430 engine in the IS200, but have fun with the work.... and with searching a useful M/T :shutit: Otherwise go with the beamer....
  2. I really don't know why most people can see the pics and a few can't Maybe you ask the Admin for a solution?!? Thanks marcus..... :) yes of course we got it, but I would have appreciated if it were a bit easier... :duh: I don't reccomend to do that this way.... But with a nice turbo and the sorted heat shield it will look :zee: B)
  3. Thanks M8s. Me either ← Did you try pressing "F5" ?? :mat:
  4. OK here some pics of the bloody job. We started with trying to bend and ended with welding..... Well we could bend the inner pipes. The outside pipes we had to cut, grind and weld.... OK.... after a long long long grinding and polishing session it looks like this now.
  5. Hey that is astonishing..... in a Tuning Magazine.... wow!! :winky:
  6. I'd also need some new discs.... what can you recommend?? The stock one I could get for 200€ (both front discs). Or do you know something better??
  7. OMG what a bloody job to make the manifold pipes fit to the IS200 flange.... :yack: On Monday we will finish it. We had to cut off the outside pipes, cut the middle pipes until the middle to bend them, and re-weld the outside pipes closer to the middle pipes..... :duh: Once!!! And never again!!! I will put Pics in here then.......... OK my dear UK-Mates........ I wish you a happy new year 2006, I hope we can see each other at JAE2006 :D and save. :winky:
  8. This thing was not bling-bling so I had to do something..... :D BEFORE THEN I had to grind it a bit.... ...and then polish.... ...really blinding.... ...you can see the surface of the workdish on the flange... like a mirror... B)
  9. Thanks buddies..... I'll keep you up to date, how things are goin' on. :winky:
  10. This is too for the 2JZ. Wondering that yours was almost similar except those few millimeters. When I set the center of both flanges, the hole from 1st and 6th cylinder fails about 2cm (20mm) As I said.... won't be easy, but I already have a plan how to do. Call me MikeGyver! :D ← I know mike thats why i ask the ? if the IS300 had the same block ;) but the opening's on your manifold are round wheres on my one they are rectangle shape -> (__), if you know what im on about, and with it being like that it all most fit apart from Pot 3 & 4 was only 5mm out :winky: ← What about the holes for the screws?? Did they fit? If not, then I'm suggesting if they used a Toyota Supra manifold Well... the 2JZ cast iron block seems to be the same as the 1G except of having bigger bore holes for the pistons and a completely different head unit where the manifold is fitted. But this doesn't have an effect on fitting the manifold, as it's mounted on the head. OK.... I will fix that problem in the winter holydays.... the Lexus is sleeping in the garage during the winter, so I don't need to hurry and have enough time for all. B) ← yea mike my one was for 2JZ Toyota Supra, i had to have a custom flange made as the screw holes did not line up as it was made for , Supra :winky: Put some pic,s up when its done mate one more thing...........................good luck with makeing it fit :winky: . as i know this is going to be a pig off a job to make it fit, ← THANKS

  13. My GT28 Turbo says A/R .80 on the compressor housing. What means this?? Large flow, longer spool?!?
  14. Looks YES..... is NO! It will take ~3 days to make the on AutoCAD drawed, CNC cutted IS200 flange fit on an IS300 Turbo manifold.....
  15. There is some work waiting for me to make this SH!T FIT! Good we have 2 weeks winter holydays.... :P
  16. mhm.... @Spock Feel sorry for you..... hope you can fix that problem....
  17. So you make a brand new custom tubular manifold for the 3S engine.... B)
  18. Means you take the piping and weld the flanges on it?!?
  19. It disappears with all the other lights. :)
  20. Nice..... but change the blue color to silver.... B) Silver-Red Mixture is B) :zee:
  21. 700km on 1 tank, when driving carefully 500-550km when flooring it B) Ordinary ~600km driving both driving styles (slow/fast) Don't know what this is in MPG?!? :duh:
  22. Get a specific ENGINE SILICONE or the oil would destroy the normal silicone. It should withstand oil, fuel and higher temp. :winky:
  23. On a 4 Cyl. YES! The more cylinders we have the smaller injectors we need. Gimme VIPERRRRrrrrrr.... 10 Cyls. I need a 3211cc injector, 400 horses running on 1 Cylinder :P But it's not really true.... I think engine capacity and fuel pressure should also be included. A 6 Cylinder can be 2.0L, 2.5L, 3.0L, 3.5L and each engine would need another amount of fuel, so the injectors size should be choosen then. :) Is it? :shutit:
  24. yep, sure will....i have it from good authority in Japan, that the gearbox can hold in excess of 350hp reliably, the weakness, being the selectors. yes :) ← WOW!! B) You have an idea which torque it can take?? EDIT: Your SIG is Was it you drifting with that Golf-Buggy??
