  1. Hi mates! Is somebody interested in forged internals? PM me if you are. This set is reserved for somebody, but I can get another one. ;) (Somebody should explain why the same thread got deleted, and why)
  2. Which diameter do your new piston have (without ring)? But this seems pretty annoying, that a 2mm bigger rod doesn't fit. :duh: You could prepare the rods, cut 1mm away on each side, this should work.
  3. They're still fixed on my car. I will remove them once. :)
  4. That's why I was wondering if he confused rod / piston. :winky: I think they wanted to put the piston with rod from the top into the block, which would be the easiest way to install internals. You don't need to remove the crank shaft. :winky: So now they will have to put them in from bottom, means remove the engine, remove crank shaft, put the internals in the block, install the crank shaft and close the lower eye from rod to crank.
  5. Guess you meant the pistons?!? Don't know if you would be happy with 75mm conrods?!? :shutit: This is bad, hope they will fix that problem for free.
  6. What year model IS200 do you have?? I have a set of steel braided lines for IS200/IS300 <6/2001 Its ok mate.. I've got some custom lines. Arrived today. I just need a pic so I can see which end is the Lexus end and which is the Skyline end. I just want to make sure they are correct before I start replacing Adie, it depends on which year model you have. The ends of the brakelines before 6/2001 are completely different than those after 6/2001. ;)

  8. Hi M8s! Just got a package with some goodies. I would just need a car then. :duh: Would have been a nice project now.
  9. That was my FIRST thought Roadrash! I've seen several projects derailed because of failed transmissions. I'm very impressed, speechless even, with the power squeezed out of his 1GFE, but I'll be 5 times as impressed if the tranny holds up. This is exactly why I've delayed modding my Tezza, I'm still uncertain as to the strength of my tranny. For this reason alone I've been considering a complete engine+tranny swap or ... *cough, cough* getting myself another car Keep us all posted tho, I'm really keen to see how well the tranny holds up :D Well, modifying a car and get some more power out of it is OKAY. Transmissions, at all MANUAL transmissions for RWD cars, are built pretty robust and can take about twice of the stock power output with keeping its normal life time. But everything is limited. And 500BHP would kill everything on the car in the drive train, if not immediately, then at least time by time. :o If somebody would ask me, I would give the hint to stay under 400BHP. The IS200 transmission is anyway so short, so I don't think a 500BHP IS200 would be quicker than a 300BHP IS200, as you would have serious troubles to get the power down on the ground. :winky: Just my opinion! If you want a +500HP drag car, buy a Supra, Skyline, Viper, Corvette or something. B)
  10. Oh wow! This ride will be terrible fast. :D
  11. Not to destroy your dreams, but u're sure you have the right car for this power output?? :winky: At least the right engine and transmission..... I wouldn't even hit the 400BHP mark, if you ask me. Or didn't you get teached by your engine blow? :shutit:
  12. Using race gas?? And the ECU-question is interesting, also which injectors is he using?? B) .....and clutch..... and which compression ratio.... and......and........and
  13. If you need a replace engine.... PM me. Just joking, with the modifications you wrote above it should hold that power. :winky: Maybe you should make some thought about the clutch and transmission. 350BHP and just 145mph top speed..... well, with a rev limit at 8000rpm you can hit far more top speed. B) This a hardcore modded IS, WOW CONGRATS!! :winky:
  14. or internals...........as well as a thicker h/gasket word :winky:
  15. Looks like you're realizing what I planned for the next 2 months. :D And don't forget the mom of all ECUs to raise rev limit and adjust ignition timing. And beg that the transmision will do the job. I wouldn't push it too far also with the internals you get soon. ;) The internals will be fine, but think of the rest on the car. For 500+ HP..... I could also sell you my engine and transmission. Looking good bud!! B) Good luck for all!! :winky:
  16. If somebody needs a gearbox.... let me know. :D
  17. If somebody is interested in the IS200 engine or transmission (71k km) or both of them.... PM me. ;)
  18. LINK :winky: Doors are in Top-Condition :)
  19. Hi mates! I'm selling my IS200 Sport (06/2001) now. Is anybody interested in some interior or engine and drive shaft parts, or the "whole" car? Pics you can see here LINK Tuning parts and wheels I will sell seperately, so they don't come with the car. Turbo Kit is already sold! + I have a tubular manifold with downpipe, wastegate pipe, intake pipe and gaskets. everything is polished, the manifold fits straight onto the IS200 engine. If there aren't many interests in parts then I will sell the car just in one piece. PM me if you'r interested. Cheers Mike :)
  20. Feel very sorry for you mate, I know how that feels like. Hope you are fine though.
  21. OK worst case happened. The car is unrepairable.... Is anybody interested in some goodies out of the car?? Tranny, engine, differential as far they are OK?? Or the rest of the chassis as like doors, windows and so on? Or the whole car?? I'm also selling my tubular manifold now. It fits straight on the 1G-FE IS200 engine. But with a T4 flange. No problem to cut if off and weld a T3 flange on it. ;) If somebody is interested in any part of them, then PM me please. :)
  22. Hi mates! Here the rest of my Lexus. I had been there again to pick up the other parts adn to take a look to the place of accident. Here I crashed into the left side, after my car began to turn when I got hit by a side wind (as I found out on SUN). What else should push the car out of its line so quickly and unexpected?? At all this section of the A1 Autobahn is known for side winds as I got told later. I got a punch of this wall and did a sliding turn into the other side. :tsktsk: Well.... my condition isn't that good at the moment as you will know. I feel bad like after loosing one of my best friends. I took a view on my ride yesterday at my workshop. It is totally damaged. The main frame is bent in front and in the back where the car crashed into the walls beside the autobahn. I will take out now all my tuning parts, remove all original parts (as far as possible) back in the car. Sell the tuning parts and will look what I can get for the rest of the car. Don't ask how the pain feels to see the car again and change it back to N/A. The backview to the memory when they pulled my crashed IS onto the pickup truck with heavy chains, rips my heart into pieces. Well.... I don't have the money yet, to buy a new car. I have to overcome the wrench at the moment and to look for saving money. I can just insure that I will stay with LEXUS and my heart will always knock-knock for Lexus. I'm fine with my actual job and I'm not hurted... that's important... I'm fine as for the physical condition so I can continue my work and once a time there will be a "RETURN OF THE MIKE-MONSTER". B)
  23. Thanks buddies for your sorry-feelings. The car is now secured in my workshop. My Lexus dealer has a 24h pick up service so they picked it up today. Not seen the car now, I hope everything is in and on the car. Pretty sure this "hot ride" is just 1.5tons of scrap metal and plastic. You don't have an idea how it hurted seeing the Lexus crashed on the right hand side of the road. I was screaming: "My car, my car...." People who stopped had been worried about my and my friend's life. But we are OK.... we got out of the car like for a tank stop. The doors opened normally, the windows had been OK, nothing was broken. Just the front and the back is wasted. I took a look under the bonnet and didn't see any damage on the engine. Just the radiator and the intercooler and other parts are somewhere on the A1 Westautobahn. Well.... on TUE my Lex-dealer-workshop will call me and then I can check out what next steps will be. Is it worth to do a repair, or to cull everything out. I think this was the end of RoadRash's Monster which died on duty. And it did its job very well. In permanent memory, your Owner RoadRash!
  24. Hi guys! I had a crash yesterday on highway @ ~110-120kmh. The street had been wet, the car's a** went sideways and I hit the walls left and right. Watch it..... tuning steps are cancelled. Now I have to see if it's possible to repair the car or not. Cheers Mike *very very sad*
