As I told you bud. :winky: Yes the downpipe, I didn't modify it to make it fit, as I was still waiting for the other parts, for finishing my project. :) But with some work you can make it fit and it would work perfect. You've finally found a good turbocharger??

Correct mate. Start the engine let it run in at idle for a while and then drive around normal style for a few hundred kms. Sometimes try to accelereate a bit quicker, rev a bit higher and listen what's going on. ;)

I know that buddy, but to live a dream means hard work and strong nerves. Before I built u my IS200T it was a time where just 2 guys in the world had a Turbo IS200 and the job was done by professional workshops, one was TDi the other in Australia, Rayhall I guess. And I wanted to do it by myself and didn't know how to do. Some time before getting all the parts my thought was like "Ah crap, forget all that sh*t!" But I didn't do that and kept on tracking my target and I got it! :D And the same will happen to you mate!! Don't loose your nerves, I know it's a hard way, but everything will be fine in the end!! Keep on your way you have choosen! :winky:

You install it about 40-50cm after the engine. :winky:

Seems a new, serious project is going on. B) What about the transmission mounts? Do they work with the IS200 chassis? Would the length of the cardan axle be long enough for the new tranny? Just meaning if the new transmission fits in the same position as the old one. Congrats to that amazing project, Mike

EDIT #3 : Yes.... ordinary it should work to disconnect the tube from compressor housing to wastegate. The wg is closed and the external one does the job then. But a non-wg turbo charger would be the better choice. :winky:

You must have pretty good ears to hear the wastegate.... :P

My Blitz SS goes something like "ppppshheeeeeeeeekkkkk" You can change the sound by turning the screw on the top. :) In the beginning mine was like "PPPSSSHHHHhhhhh!" Then I changed it to liek that from the Supra "TSH-TSH-TSH-tsh-tsh-tsh!" Nice one Mike Which way do you turn the screw and how many turns to get the "TSH-TSH-tsh-tsh-tsh" effect? The harder you set the screw (turning to the right hand side) the more you get the "Tsh-Tsh-Tsh!" effect. I will look for some videos of my Lex then I can show you. :)

Hi Maz! I have driven both of them, the IS220d and the IS250 (A/T). And I was really disapointed about the power of the IS220d. So lame.... it pulls for a short moment in a 500-1000rpm area and then it falls back asleep. But the IS250 was surprising me. Never thought I would like it, but I do. I'm waiting to get a ride in the M/T model once. B)

OMFG! It seems like that, great job buddy! OK now we know what's going on with the stock conrods.
