  1. Personally i still think you need to pay between £1500 and £2000 for a good example. there are some battered ones out there so if it is like new condition like you said then £1800 is a reasonable price. Mine was the same and i paid a bit more for a good'n as the previous owner had up kept it regardless of expense.
  2. Of course count me in please! thanks for the farewell everyone i feel like a valued member and have never had as much thought and attention my way before :) its a nice feeling. Im planning on flying April 28th. I know i shouldnt advertise the fact im selling my car without gold membership but just wanted some advise on how quickly you think i will sell it? Reason i ask ide really like to have it for the meet but that only gives me 2 weeks to sell it which really worries me. I was thinking to put it up for sale end of march time and anyone interested tell them it will be available after the 13th, is that unheard of when selling a car? Anyway really looking forward to the meet and how much will it be to sit in the ISF? :p lol
  3. very strange, although Lexus changed the headunit design many times over 6 years. My yatour plugged into the far right (edit) connector in my picture. I was looking closer at your and was thinking it would plug in 2nd one on the left side of your picture but cant quite make out the pinout on the angle of your shot?
  4. Hi. Welcome. Got any pics of the MR2? Hope you dont mind trading power for reliability
  5. as noby said, ide deff opt for a top spec 2.4 Auto petrol. If only they did a V6 though, but not even America got that
  6. I love the 9000. I used to me amazed seeing them as a kid lol
  7. yeah sorry guys was looking at my IS200 this morning and was thinking, maybe a bit of a stretch to say that lol it just reminded me of it is all, with its grill and lights in similar places and its compact saloon shape. Since opinions are floating about ill add mine. for me the WRX isnt a car i could live with until i saw this one. Its always been very basic and built for speed and lightness which is fair enough if you use it for the weekends. ive always respected the WRX for been AWD though, only Audi's can compete with that and im not a fan of them. plus tired of seeing fast cars that are FWD on the road. but i like a car thats fast and a nice place to be at the same time. (no im not saying my IS200 is fast!) always had a soft spot for AMG mercs.
  8. Im not going to say yes because yours is different to mine? we have same year IS too? But as far as i know GROM type devices are compatible with all IS200 1999 to 2005 which covers all the headunits used If you get one and your a bit short of cash get a yatour, there half the price and ive had no problems with mine. If you dont have NAVI then its just plug and play (i had to do i few modifications to mine)
  9. Hondas are great ide put them over toyota tbh. My wifes first car was a 89 accord it wentfor 340k until the transmission died. Engine was fine
  10. Ah well that makes more sense. he didnt really explain why so made me think why would they take responsibility when it should lie in the company i bought the key off. its the 2nd key and wanted to get it sorted for the next owner
  11. Not sure the IS300 is going into that teritory because ive never driven one but ide say its at least half way there and ahead of its time in 2001
  12. Ye fact of the matter is autos nowadays are faster and more fuel efficient than manuals and all the fastest cars in the world use them so cant be boring for sure. I think Porsche are one of the few you can still get a manual but there latest 911 it isnt a option anymore and knowones complaining. same with M5
  13. interesting. seems like its deff a option then. I just rang my insurance company to tell them im doing more miles. to 6000 miles a year instead of 5000 lol so no point me doing it
  14. lol did i? i was getting a bit worried getting past the last notch but not on the needle
  15. I paid 129.9 at BP. It gave me exactly half a tank
  16. Yeah well say you sell at 200k i think a LPG system would easily pay for itself after 50k but you'll have to do the maths
  17. I know they are rare, but even so there is nearly always one or two for sale. I just looked and found 2, one had seen better days ill admit but the other looked immaculate. I would of suggested a IS300 too, but the OP specifically said he hates autos, so im guessing a IS300 is out of the question
  18. Knowone suggested Altezza? There were a couple for sale when i was buying
  19. can you take a closer shot of your DRLs in the highbeams pls
  20. Good luck getting it cut, Timson just refused saying they cant take responsibility of cheap blanks snaping in ignition barrels. WTF
  21. Well i just put £40 quid in mine from empty, ill see what i get
  22. ah must me a different car then, nvm. Not many Aero's about so i thought he might of sold it Edgton eh, i used to go wet sponge throwing there when i was a kid lol Only reason i thought you were joking Chris is i thought IS's go well into the 2k's without any problems. I once asked on here. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/81107-so-what-kind-of-mileage-do-iss-start-going-wrong/ but yeah its well above average, but i think Stuart's heading there quite quickly lol
