Wow nice mustangs. Love em. Gotta have the V8 though. Yeah i was thinking of luxury equiv class. Cadillacs, buicks lincolns etc. Lexus drive very similar and not anything else like it on these shores. Afterall Lexus was built with the american market in mind with smooth, relaxed and reliable motors

Cant beat em, they have such a presence on the road over here too. however Lexus i believe is the closest thing to an american car over here with the wheel on the right side and parts are more accessible Lovely LS400 anyway. Never seen a white one

I cleaned mine - and what a difference. It just makes the car look so much cleaner and well looked after mainly because it is stainless steel and it shines up nicely. Mine had the tip which looks fab on these imo. heres a pic of my old car

Well i just sold my much loved IS200 to a great guy. hes even going to pick it up at my convenience so im not car-less for the last few weeks. kinda sad to have sold it but have slowly accepted the idea. I was asking £1600 and was hoping to take offers around £1500 and we negotiated at £1400, which im ok with. Its going to someone i know will look after it and will even pick it up at my convenience to i cant complain. I initially had trouble selling it tbh, but i blame that on it been automatic. Ill definitely refer the new owner to the loc. Anyway guys i fly in 2 weeks time, so its getting close. Im looking at buying a Lexus ES300 as we havent got as much cash as we originally planned so until we get a steady income im gonna have to buy a cheapish car to start with. An IS300 sells in excess of $8000! same with a GS. but i can pick up a ES for around $4000 Do we know much about the ES? i know its not the 2JZ and more of a dressed up Toyota

I love my 5000k. but em in fog lights too to match and got super bright 5000k LED sidelights. I modified my mainbeam HID bulbs to defeat glare though, they look more professional too. like OEM

2002 1.6 Ford Focus auto to 2000 IS200 auto. a much improvement :D. Also had a Rover 200 SDI 2.0 for my first car but not for long. my mum gave it me. All i remember is i had to slow down when my wife was on the phone because she couldnt hear! also that i was still freezing my butt off 7 miles into my trip and only then the heater would slowly start to blow warm. put me off diesels for life. I soon bought a Ford Focus auto to tie me over until i could afford to insure a IS200. The wait was well worth it.

Never heard reports of a 220d getting 55mpg in real life btw. If you were going to keep your IS200 for over 2 years ide get the body work done for your own benifit if not ide leave it up to the next owner as it wont increase the value. cambelt a different matter, prob have to get it done to sell it tbh Classic example of the government forcing us to buy the car they want us to buy. makes my blood boil. anyway if you get the auto its about the same as your IS200 in tax isnt it? with slightly better MPG too your outgoings are going to be the same, unless your looking to cut back anyway keep us posted. lovely IS200 youve got there

I reckon its valve seals. My last car had the same issue, (Ford Focus) except it was only at 50k and 2002! at 200k its to be expected and a easy repair

I looked at CLKs when looking for a luxury auto car. really nice motors. I bet the suspension is nice, sometimes find the IS a bit firm for my liking. I treat it as a luxury saloon after all, i know its a sport saloon lol

I was thinking the same about a gtr. But i think its common knowledgetat a gtr is as fast or faster than most (all?) Super cars. I can think of others vehicles ide like to see in the mix though ;) mainly hot rods, muscle cars even pickup trucks. Ive seen Ferrari get wasted on the strip

There was a Ferrari behind me a few days ago. I floored it just for kicks off the lights and he past me effortlessly while my IS200 was whining. gave me some laughs lol. Ide take a IS-F over a Ferrari any day. never been big on super cars including the sound they make (except the Ford GT)
