  1. Repair the body work on the cheap, rip the inside out to loose weight and install a 2JZ engine for giggles 😎
  2. I'll be very interested to see how these come out and they do look nice.
  3. First thing I did when my car landed to the UK was to install a tracker unit. The new ones come with a secondary key/card so even if they take your car keys and the secondary device isn't there it'll send out an alert to tracker. In theory they can remotely immobilize the car as well, in conjunction with tracking it.
  4. Thanks mate, I will definitely need to send mine out to them for some refurbishment work and a new lick of paint.
  5. Whos BCS? I googled it and it come out with British Computer Society, I doubt that's what you're talking about 😄
  6. Sweet, those came out real nice. Love how clean they look. Now you just need painted calipers to make things pop 👍
  7. @Yuss Sweet Pipes, do you have cat-less headers? or OEM?
  8. @Bluesman Lol that's Bruce.....I had him when I was living alone....then got married and my wife hates pets 😪 so I had to give him away to a cat loving family. Don't remind me about him, I still miss him to bits lol 😄
  9. Don't let that deter you, my ISF is a left hand drive and haven't had any issues driving around in London.....I did however invest in one of those arm grad sticks for when I have to grab a ticket from a parking lot machine 😂
  10. I have to say my ISF speakers are the worst I have ever heard in a car 😂 honestly they just don't cut it for me and regularly find myself maxing out the volume and still not satisfied. Having said that, No I haven't bothered upgrading the speakers, especially ever since installing my Ti exhaust 😝, just looooove hearing the car now and don't really care about the speakers, I'm sure I'll blow them soon enough. I would have thought they would have upgraded the speakers on the RCFs
  11. I'd love an old skool Supra as a toy car, although if I could get the new one for free then I wouldn't mind having the new one. Still the Supra is one of those classics that will never get old, along with the R34 GTR
  12. @Big Rat Yes unfortunately so 🙄, the longer I leave the car standing the bigger the itch gets to just give my car to someone to forge the internals and install the RR supercharger since its sitting for so long. But then my better half seems to always have something that keeps me from taking the plunge 😁
  13. My GCC Spec ISF didn't come with TPMS, I installed an aftermarket unit and works great.
  14. Well it isn't 100% perfectly vertical because it flows with the bend of the front bumper shape if that makes sense. Thanks for the info, didn't know bikes will pass without emissions testing. Also would have thought that non approved number plates would have failed.
  15. Thanks for the clarification, but isn't the sticker number plate mounted vertically just like a normal plate? I can understand if it obstructs the view or is difficult to see on speed cameras etc... But I've received a few shots of my car going into the congestion zone with no issues so far, so it doesn't seem to be obstructive 🙂 Anyway I guess only time will tell and I'll update you guys if I do ever get stopped for the sticker plate in future. It does look much nicer without the plate holder 😉, looks clean.
  16. Sorry just realised didn't answer your question (3 months late) 🙂 , I got a second hand set from different sellers on ebay, some were in wood and some were black and some were the oem trim and then had them sanded and real carbon fiber applied (no vinyl stickers used)
  17. You can find it in my build thread on CL ---> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/build-threads/691131-defratos-isf-build-6.html although I do have the number plate smeared out but it should give you a good enough idea on how it looks. If you look in the background you'll see a Golf front bumper with a sticker number plate as well, but mine is slightly different as it doesn't have the black border that goes around it. Well, I went to 2 MOT shops and both told me it's perfectly fine and it would pass so I don't understand whats the point of MOT when they are legally bound to check the car is up to legal standard? Plus I don't see anything in the link you sent that states sticker plates are not allowed? My sticker number plate is the correct size, shape and font it's also reflective. Can you show me where it says sticker plates are not allowed? I can understand if the sticker is distorted or the font isn't correct or it's not reflective, but mine are as per legal spec unless I'm missing something here. I also have my original plate in the boot, the main reason I went for the sticker is because the number plate holder tabs broke off and I assumed they won't sell it in the UK since my car is a GCC Spec. soooo if I do get stopped I can always go with that route. But I would firstly fight it as it was approved by 2 MOT shops.
  18. I've removed my number plate and installed a reflective sticker plate on the front from these guys (https://www.dmb.uk.com/) Just had my MOT done last month and it passed with flying colours, so no issue in terms of legality. The guy even looked at the sticker plates and told me as long as it's reflective and the correct size then it's fine. I covered the two holes on the front bumper with some tape and then put the sticker plate on top.
  19. Yes Ekanoo are simply the best in this part of the world, If I was to ever install the RR Supercharger (and still had my car in ksa) I would have gone to them with my eyes closed. Great company, great people and amazing work
  20. wow I guess on the track the temps increase is even greater, I've never tracked my car but have driven it around KSA and our avg temps here are anywhere from 32-36c so I wouldn't have expected the temps to increase by 10psi on the track....still good to know.
  21. Isn't 40+ a bit excessive? and is this 40psi measured while the tires are cold? because the temp will increase by a decent 3+4psi when they're hot. I set mine to 37 cold, and they climb close to 40 when the tires are hot. Wouldn't 46psi make the car feel like it's driving on skates? Also I'd believe at the track (1/4 mile) you'd want to set them even lower than 37 to get more tire contact on the road.
