  1. ^ Yes it was insured and I'm in the process of claiming back the value, but I'd rather just get the exhaust instead of cash
  2. Thanks didn't know I could do that, will give it a try. Thanks, no the parcel didn't have a detailed description on the fitment of the exhaust but it does have Joe-Z exhaust stamped on it and he can simply google it and see what car it fits if he's smart enough.
  3. So I'm in the process of getting my car to the UK and a few weeks back I shipped my Joe-Z exhaust via TNT to my London address. To my shock TNT managed to loose my package personally I believe someone working there stole it plane and simple. They've already tried to find the package but no luck. I can't even imagine how they managed to loose 4 large odd shaped boxes but they did so I'm never using TNT again and would advice everyone I know to never use such a lousy shipping company. I've always used DHL for the past 15 years and never had a problem so I'll be sticking with a genuine company in future rather than TNT. So I'm posting pics here in case anyone finds this exhaust for sale somewhere on Ebay or anywhere else, I'd appreciate you let me know. The rear cat-back section is powder coated in black so should be easily recognizable. Any help would be appreciated. Once again never use TNT!!!
  4. Maybe I'm missing something but why don't you just use bluetooth and stream music that way....that's what I've been doing. There's also a usb connection in my armrest (maybe this is only for later models) but you can also connect it that way.
  5. quick question, did you install that electric module that came with the PPE Headers? I believe it tricks the ECU into not throwing codes? it should have been in the package with the PPE Headers.
  6. Ok I'll understand Oman, but I would be shocked to find anyone in UAE taking a bribe. As for here, he'll take the bride and then throw you in jail if he's feeling nice, I don't trust then here one bit tbh.
  7. Agreed BUT now a days the police have become such #$%4 holes that they will impound my car just for having a slight window tint or any sort of modification. My car looks pretty stock and sounds normal (not loud) but recently they've just become really annoying and stopping anyone they dont like and making their life hell. Cars that don't even have headlights are ok, cars that wouldn't even pass an MOT are ok, even if they're tinted or not road legal. But they see someone in a nice car and they'll throw the book on them, which is why I'm sending my car to the UK where I can legally enjoy driving it and not worry about anyone taking advantage of the law because at least in the UK the laws are clear cut, not like here. Honestly I've hated driving here in the past 5 months which is why I'm shipping my car to the UK where I can actually enjoy driving it. Sorry for drifting off topic :)
  8. ^ Yup always do, I have an aftermarket TPMS stuck on the front window and always make sure they're spot on :) I would never do such speeds in the UK btw and never do these speeds in the city here or anywhere around other cars
  9. ^ Outside Jeddah, KSA.....in the desert pretty much but a lot of cross wind. You might be right but I was close to finishing 6th gear and would of had to shift to 7th if I wanted to go any faster.
  10. Max I've done here is 167 mph but wasn't comfortable going any faster on the roads we have here. From what I remember I was close to finishing 6th gear so still 2 more gears to go :)
  11. BTW it sounds extra loud because he had his mic in the engine bay or something, he's a member on CL. I'm waiting for this guy to break the 10s 1/4 mile then I'll be happy to go with the Supercharger, but also waiting to see what Sikky come up with as they're also working on some sort of forced induction.....maybe they'll manage a turbo setup which I'll be happier with:
  12. The only guess I can make out would be something related to the suspensions or your ride height
  13. Are you sure it's rubbing? or is it skipping? as much as an MOT should check for suspension failure I'd measure up both sides of the car from the ground. Maybe one of your suspension arms is leaking causing it to be lower on one side? just a guess. I'm running 245/35 19 tires on the front (this equates to being 8mm lower compared to the OEM tires) and I'm running OEM suspensions and have never had them rub so it's either you're lowered or there's bushing/suspension failure in the mix.
  14. lol so true, I'm happy seeing these LHD cars in the UK especially if they were able to drive all the way to the Peak District
  15. Yup I did it exactly as stated, hold down the ODO button while displaying my car ODO (not trip A or trip B) but nothing happens. I've held it for 10, 20, 30, 40 secs intervals and nothing. I have Techstream and the cable and have connected the car up but can't find anywhere to change it from KPH to MPH. If you can guide me where you have found this on Techstream it'll be a great help, but so far can't find it anywhere. Everything else customizable on techstream shows up but nothing relating to changing from KPH to MPH.
  16. That's what I tried (in the link I sent) but it doesn't seem to work. I'm guessing they disabled this for middle east spec cars to stop people from playing around with it. I think it'll have to be a dealer program change or something
  17. Following on from my earlier thread, Finally I’ve managed to install OEM rear fog lights on my GCC Spec ISF. I know you guys in the UK get this as standard Big Thanks goes out to @Big Rat for all his help in getting me some of these part numbers and helping me along the way. Parts needed are as follows: New indicator Stalk which include the additional selection for the rear fog light: 84140-30311 New Rear Inner Light clusters which include the rear fogs: 81580-53071 Lamp Assy, Rear, RH 81590-53071 Lamp Asse, Rear, LH Changing the indicator Stalk was pretty straight forward after watching one or two videos on YouTube, and changing the rear Lamp was even easier. Pics below for reference of the change but it was a simple plug a play. The only thing I’m trying to sort out now is displaying the rear fog lights on my dash when they’re switched on. The light for the rear fogs is in the dash but I think it needs to be programmed by the dealer or something. I’ve looked into Techstream but can’t find anything to help activate this light. Enjoy the pics Old Vs New Indicator Stalk: Bottom Lights are the new ones with the fogs installed:
  18. Hmm well the links on that page aren't available anymore. I'll try depressing the start button and the odometer as he stated but I believe his works like the link I sent, which is refusing to change for mine. Thanks for the help though.
  19. ^ Are you sure? because from what I know 09 ISF do not have a digital speedometer read out. Both MPH and KPH are physically shown on the speedo dials, whereas the new ISF cluster displays only display KPH phsycially on the side and they have an additional digital readout which should be able to switch between both but mine is currently on KPH. There should be a way to display MPH and maybe it would be something that will have to be programmed by the dealer, I'm just surprised that some guys in the states can change theirs by following the steps in the link I sent. Page 148 and other pages relating to the speedometer on my manual don't have any options showing this kind of change being possible. Yours should look like this: Mine looks like this:
  20. No it's on GCC (Middle East) spec car, which is Left Hand Drive and closer to the Japanese spec as far as I'm aware (in terms of manufacturing differences)
  21. So I'm trying to convert my digital speedo reading on my 2013 ISF from KPH to MPH. I've read that this can be done using the ODO stick as stated here --> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f-2008-2014/616176-convert-mph-to-kmph.html Tried it but isn't working, any ideas why or if i'm doing something wrong or if there's a different method?
  22. Yes I've used it in the past and didn't really like it TBH. All I remember is I needed to buy an android phone to get it working. I'm now using Techstream with a laptop instead which gives me much better access to everything (program has bugs but still works for data logging and clearing codes)
  23. Awesome looks like a great turnout. Weather seems to be playing nice
  24. Interesting never knew that. For peace of mind though I like to have everything reset
