  1. It was the sales managers at the time. He's running a yellow LC500 now, but they wouldn't give me that for some reason...
  2. +1 for 2 V8s, 9.6l of fuel burning space..... Wife drives a Jazz.. :(
  3. It makes a nice read. Very good spot. I didn't realise that so many had been sold in the US.
  4. So this time I got a nice looking red RC300h, which I have to say worked well but I really thought lacked character and the red just wasn't my thing... Before that I've had an RC-F loaner, which persuaded me to really consider one after the IS-F, having previously been put off them by the reviews. Unlike the RC300h, which convinced my that I'm not replacing my V8 for a hybrid this decade... Also had a CT200, which, which I've liked the look of for a long time, however driving it was, surprise surprise, just like driving a Prius, which made me wonder about the point of the thing.... Still hoping to get a GSF when I take my car back for the airbag recall....
  5. I've been happy with the work they've done for me. Not so keen on some of the other Inchcape dealerships, however I know the guys there pretty well and their work has been good.
  6. A 70 double cab, definitely would like one.... I'd swap my old range rover for that any day..
  7. Similar experience, Lexus Guildford haven't got the bits in yet, getting mine done in a few weeks time.
  8. Such shame, looks like a pretty major prang. Hope the driver is OK.
  9. To be honest i've not noticed their absence. Good quality tyres in good condition, checked reasonably regularly - no issues so far.
  10. I do like the looks of that rendering, hope it makes it into production.
  11. Well, it has to be a lexus again after the last few years. I had a land cruiser that was as reliable but nothing else can touch it as a combination of performance and reliability. My mate changes his cars regularly and he's had no end of problems with Mercs and BMWs, though his latest is a 240 which seems to be working reasonably well.
  12. nearly 60 and do IT stuff. Had lots of cars over the years but the IS-F is the best all rounder i've ever had. I've put near 80k on it since I got it and apart from brakes and tyres, the only other thing that's happened is it might need a new shock absorber at the next service.... So I may actually get some use out of the warranty after all. Seriously thinking about swapping for an RC-F next year given the way the prices are tumbling.... I know the GS-F drives better but they are still a bit expensive for me and I don't think the trade in on my car will hold up so well if it gets past 100k.
  13. My 11 has the clocks as well as the other bits.... So I think it depends if the car was early or late 11
  14. Oh dear, I've just spent 40 mins watching Supra videos...... I've been thinking about doing something slightly daft like taking an A40 classic car racing next year on the basis they are cheapish, fun and are unlikely to go fast enough for me to kill myself.... However, now I'm thinking, if I could find a 20 yr old tuned supra with a roll cage already in it, that wouldn't be so bad, after all, what damage could I do with 1000 bhp???
  15. FYI my 2011 has the LED driving lights as well as the other updates mentioned.
  16. Just watched your 8;31 lap, terrific stuff. Thanks for sharing it.
