Ok, here is the story, My son (age 18) has just passed his test (hurray!). He wants to drive his brothers car but his brothers car insurance company will not insure anyone under the age of 21. So he can’t use that company (esure) Can you have the same car insured by two different people on different policies? The internet seems to suggest it is legal but my wife’s insurance company say it must be the same company. Their would be confusion if the car was stolen, which policy would you claim on? Any suggestions ? Thanks Paul

Not all models have reversing camera, so if that is important, check. My advance has the camera, but I think some of the lower grades do not. SE does not have folding rear seats

Hi Glenn, Welcome to the forum. Your in the right place. The Premier spec has the Mark Levinson system, the F Sport does not unless specified. The main difference between the F-Sport and Premier is looks and the F-Sport has the fancy (LFA) style instruments. I have a 2015 Advance model that has standard sat nav and sound system, but nice heated, cooled, electric leather seats. No sunroof. Road tax is £10. Premier is best if it is in your budget as it has Mark Levinson and the toys. F-Sport if you prefer the looks. Try and find an F-Sport with the Mark Levinson system upgrade. Check the car tax as some models may be in the higher tax bracket as the cost new was over £40K. I currently get around 45 mpg on short (8 mile) town commutes. Keep the questions coming.

Had mine GEN 3 coated 5 years ago, paintwork still great shape. I used the smart insurance once to get a scratch out the door. Which came out perfectly. The guy who did it said that because it was GEN 3 coated it had not penetrated the paintwork so just polished out. Worth it for peace of mind. With black it may show the scratches more. I also got mine from Stoke but did not feel I got a good deal on ex demonstrator.

Why not have a solar powered charger built into the parcel shelf to keep the battery topped up.

Park assist button is on the right hand side of the dash at knee level, marked P. If it’s on the green light is on the dash. However it should not make a noise all the time. Maybe a sensor needs a clean. Have a great Christmas and stay safe. Paul

Correct. The button on the handle is the keyless locking. The key slot below is for the real key if the keyless does not work. Eg flat battery. Keyless unlocking is the inside of the door handle as per Lexus. Wife has a Jazz.

I did the IAM test about 20 years ago and then was an observer for a few years. I then did the ROSPA test which is like the IAM but you retake it every 3 years and are graded Bronze, Silver and Gold. My son passed his IAM test last year. It helps with anticipation and fits well with a hybrid driving style. Worth doing. In the mean time check out Roadcraft and the Reg Local YouTube videos. Thanks for the replies, it seems as though people like German engineering in their mowers at least. Been in touch with Gtech, they will not replace under warranty as the spare battery I bought is only covered for 6 months, even though the original battery is covered for 2 years. Well wont be buying their products again.

Hi, I got a gtech cordless lawnmower a few years ago and it is really great not being tied with the cable. However the battery went just after the two year warranty expired. I bought a replacement battery at a cost of £150. Now the replacement battery has gone after another 15 months. I don’t want to keep forking out £150 for a new battery every year. Argos have a Spear and Jackson one for £180 with a 3 year warranty. I may be tempted to try. Any other suggestions ? Not interested in a petrol mower. Thanks Paul
