Go for a Green Cotton Filter Aido, Ive ordered one, cos the yellow spongy one you get with the kit, albeit very good, looks cheap.

Dave, Ive just bought a Trust one. I am well chuffed. Its easy to fit (30mins), and the end product is good. Ive polished the ally tubing for bling points aswell. Ive found that the power band that was evident with the air box in place has gone, and I have a much smoother power band across the whole rev range :P . Accelaration has improved :) , overall power and torque has definately improved :D , and when you floor it, she Growls like a lioness on heat !! . That, coupled with the HKS Zorst adds a real nice roar at the back, and a damm good suck at the front :o Get one Dave, mine was £146.00 delivered, and I only had to wait a week. Ok guys, what I think we need to ascertain, is who ic coming from up north. Us northerners can meet somewhere and travel down in convoy, then meet up at say Milton Keynes services and meet some of the others, then go down the M25 and meet some of the others there, then on to cranliegh? Hows that for an idea? I could either go M180, M18, M1 or M180, M62, meet at Ferrybridge Services, then down A1, M18, M1. We can stop at regular services to meet others, but looking at the time we have to be there for, its gonna be an early start for us northerners. So, who is going from up north? Lets get something put into place guys, it would be a bit of a shame if some of us didnt travel in convoy.

Do you have tracker fitted? if so, they can confirm its location within a set time. Are there any CCTV on the road which can identify you driving sown the road at ANYTIME on that particular day. Do you have any receipts for ANYTHING you purchased on that particular day, this would prove your whereabouts at the time of purchase. Did you send any emails from work on that day, that would prove that your email address was used at that particular time on that day (although it doesnt prove it was you !) Does your work have CCTV overlooking the car park? Will anyone at work testify that you did not leave the premises at all in that day? Are you sure that someone you know hasnt had a bump, and blamed you cos they dont like you? Insist that the Insurance Company provide proof that your vehicle was involved? (a testimony from the other party is not enough) Did you speak to anyone on the phone at work at all during that day? Are your telephone conversations recorded? (Date/Time Stamp)? Do you have security on the gate at work? If you didnt have an accident, then it is upto the insurance company to say that you did, and prove it. If you are innocent, then there is nothing to worry about, but make sure when it is found that you had nothing to do with it, you get a written statement from your insurance company stating that. If all else fails, inform the insurance company that the press will be informed and so will your MP. They will probably produce documents then. They dont like it up em......

I set about changing my spark-plugs last night. Simple Job, total time should take no more than 30 mins right ???? NO 1st Problem, when I removed the airbox and top cover, I noticed that the very back coil pack retaining bolt was VERY corroded. Not to worry, a bit of WD...... The damn thing was well and truly ceased, and when I excerted only moderate force, it sheared I had to drill and use an easy-out, then retap the damm hole - Total time so far - 1 hour. Ok, I changed the rest of the plugs, no probs so far. I reassembled the air box, job done. NO The car would only turn-over once and then stall removed air box and top cover again car still not starting fiddled around with the inginition harness, got it to start, stripped every connection off again and cleaned the connections, reassembled and vioala, the car starts, excellent NO My engine warning light was on, and the TRC OFF light was flashing !! more fiddling and head scratching again for another hour, lots of swearing and panicking, fiddled again with every sensor and wire there is, reassembled, Excellent, everything is fine this time. Total time taken 2 3/4 hours....... The trouble is, I still dont know what the problem was, has this happenned to any of you guys at all? I dont want this happening when Im away from home somewhere.

Its gonna be interesting to see whether you get the same back that you paid. I think the lextasy website should display the costs for us brits in GBP, it makes it a little easier for us, or even build in a currency covertor of some sort.

EXACTLY the same thing happened to me. It took a few polite emails and then a very stern one to get my refund, only to find out that the 205 dollars they refunded was worth 12 quid less then when I paid !! In fact, I think it was me that posted something somewhere to report about it. I cant remember who it was that sent the emails to me, but I know it wasnt steve.

Ive never seen one, so I didnt know. I just assumed (wrongly) that the 200 and the 300 shared the same engine, it was just the internals that differed. :duh:

could anyone please advise me whether the IS300 exhaust manifold is exactly the same as the IS200? I have found a company in the states that can make a realy nice manifold, all tuned lengths, to replace mine, but they are unsure whether the IS300 is the same, could someone please help me. Forgive me if Im a bit stupid :duh: but if the 300 stuff fits the 200 and tezza, then why dont the tezza stuff (as quoted earlier) fit the 200? Im interested in this as this is going to be my next mod. I want to lower the car only about 25-30mm and stiffen the ride, but not too much.
