  1. PS. Just make sure the battery has had its Lexus Hybrid Battery Check... https://mag.lexus.co.uk/lexus-hybrid-health-check-2/ etc...
  2. From our experience, the battery and petrol just, 'do their thing'. Working together... automatically. Not really like a fully electric vehicle, just more efficient ( I hope ) than a petrol only car. Don't expect to get 20 miles on all-electric... or anything near that. You notice it mostly in stop-start-traffic... the silence.
  3. £1.89 this morning at Shell. ( Not even V-Power.)
  4. Having seen how rare metals are extracted for 'EV' cars, I'm not interested in having one. But I agree, taking spaces when drivers should not, is unfair and selfish.
  5. Bite the bullet and change the battery. Before the supply chain disrupts supply. My wife did eventually, using Lexus - no more problems,
  6. As above... I switched off ALL the power to our house. Remotes to our cars worked. Switched ALL the power back on.
  7. What do they mean exactly? In my experience, they either work or definitely don't...
  8. Not sure I would bother. Just buy a (electric) pump - worth having anyway.
  9. The MOT history 'says' it did 30,000 miles last year. Work vehicle? It passed (MOT) with 'flying colours' this year, apparently. Caveat emptor?
  10. Test drive them both. Sleep on it. Decide.
  11. I like queries that... have a conclusion. Maybe not straightaway, but updates and conclusions add so much value. I also like queries that... remind me to do something. Got out MY AutoGlym this morning. My leather seats looked clean. They weren't. Cleaned and conditioned now. I like to read the manual and I like to hear what others think on a forum. I like to share my nominal knowledge too.
  12. Well... you've prompted me to change mine this afternoon. I have a spare... I always get a sense of achievement when I do.
  13. AutoGlym cleaner and conditioner would get my vote...
  14. Interestingly, John, having had a good chat to 'my' garage today... They also suggest similar to your option 1. In other words, get to a pre-MOT inspection in August, cost it as per what might need to be done and then decide.
