  1. There is no way I'm going to pay to take the four TPMS sensors out of 4 tyres and stick them in a wheel barrow wheel. I'd rather buy new sensors . Anyway, I haven't got a wheelbarrow
  2. At the moment Dave , no TPMS. I've only taken it for a 10 mile drive and TPMS warning hasn't come on yet, I expect it to soon though. The ride is so much smoother, and speed bumps are now soaked up, however, I had to slam the brakes on during my 10 mile trip when a car pulled out in front of me.... scary moment when the tyres only just stopped me in time, they'll take some getting used to compared to the Bridgestone's. I'm sure they'll come into their own when it gets a bit cooler, it's about 10 degrees here at the moment.
  3. Busy this morning. Looking forward to a plusher ride going from 18's to 16's
  4. The videos I've seen on YouTube only show removal and cleaning of the intake EGR pipe, not the valve or cooler. In order to remove the valve and cooler, you would need to remove the 2 m8 nuts from the exhaust manifold pipe and the 2 m8 studs and the gasket. Then to remove the egr, it is held on by 2 m8 nuts (on studs - 1 in the cylinder head and 1 in the cam carrier) and 1 m8 bolt going into the head cover. Un clip the harness from the valve and job done.
  5. The only thing I can find anywhere is it is finely machined metal.. Can't find what type of metal but looks like aluminium to me. http://www.lexus.com.kw/EN/IS/f-sport Im also guessing that it is the same as the naguri trim on the GSF (Just a different pattern) which is aluminium. http://www.lexus-int.com/magazine/issue8/element/
  6. I was hoping so, and not included with the premier pack.
  7. Not as bad as we first thought then, so, we can knock £4K off the 'added on' price from the £6250 (For the leather and nav) because the leather and prem nav are included .. It saves me having to ring work on Monday to confirm anyway. AVS included ... bonus
  8. Thanks, then neither of us know what we actually get for £6250. But agree it would be a bit easier to swallow if it included prem nav, leather, ML and rear X traff alert, but until I find out for sure I won't be assuming it is a 'fair price'. Especially as the configurator wants to take an extra £4K off me (For leather and prem nav) on top of the £6250.
  9. Nice, I'm condsidering swapping our 2015 one for the new Model year, but might swap it for the rc now instead.
  10. I'm guessing this is in regard to the pricing? I assumed when you said that £6250 was a fair price for all the bits inside, you knew what bits we'd be getting. i take it now you don't actually know for sure??
  11. So what is offered on the f-sport premier pack for £6250 rayaans?
  12. I hope you're right ref the Premium pack. Over £11k for extras is steep in my book.
  13. Ok, considering with the f-sport you get all the following as standard (according to the website). Lexus safety system+ inc adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, auto high beam, sway warning, reversing camera, triple l shaped led headlights etc. Add the premium nav inc 10.3" screen - £2000. Add the f-sport leather - £2000 If I spend another, extra £6250.... What other 'bits' do I get in it? An ML upgrade? Rear cross traff alert?
  14. Fantastic looking car the c70 convertible. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
  15. Add the premier pack to f-sport, and it's an additional £6250 !!??!!
  16. They look a very similar colour to one of my sets of wheels I had powder coated last year on my disco. When I look at the difference between my F-sport wheels and the LR's the Lexus wheels seem to have a bit more chromey (If that's a word) look to them.
  17. I'm easy on all my cars. It's just with the IS, when I use it, it barely gets chance to warm up before it's switched off. Now the Mrs's IS does see a better mpg (at least on the dash readout) but I don't track the real time fuel expenses on that so can't give a real time comparison. I'll take mine for a good run and feedback but I'm positive it'll do well.
  18. Agreed. The 4th gen Prius engine isn't TNGA based though but still is a huge improvement over the 3rd gen and will be used in the new c-hr too
  19. Well, I'm only averaging just over 34mpg. However, the car rarely gets used and when I do use it, it'll only do about 15 miles in a day. I've only filled it three times since I've owned it. Best mpg is just over 36 and worst is just over 31. I'll take it for a long good run one day to see how it does.
  20. The tnga unit is a massive change, especially how the engines are assembled,
  21. It was good to meet you and the wife Andy. Not so good, me dropping a wheel. And the RX, .. stunning.
