  1. You're welcome Geoff, you have a great Christmas too.
  2. I think you need to push the left and right buttons on the steering wheel to get it back to the fuel consumption page, and then up and down on the steering wheel buttons to find the mpg section of that page. If it's similar to the f-sport anyway.
  3. Don't forget to show the photos of your new car when you get a chance. It sounds great.
  4. Is the fuel 6 month old in it, or did you put in some fresh? It'd be worth sticking some new plugs in and an air filter too. Might also be worth investing in a new battery, a flat 6 month old one would be past it's sell by date. Try and get the basics into a good condition first and then it'd make fault finding a bit easier.
  5. Now youv'e cleared the fault codes and MIL light, I'd run it for as long as you can and then read the fault codes again to see if you have any re-occurring ones.
  6. Yes, the IS300h has shoes. The RX MY08-15 has shoes also. However, the RX MY15 onwards has an electronic parking brake and only has pads. My disco has shoes and electronic park brake and suffers from it sticking a lot, especially if I've left it for a couple of weeks. I have to engage / release the EPB a few times in order for it to release. EPB can be problematic, especially in land rovers.
  7. Gutted for you, it can do no harm to contact the dealer and ask them for an explanation.
  8. Good luck Have a look at the multi plug tabs on your new one to give you an idea how to unclip the old one from the harness.
  9. John, it was an early tsb showing location of AF sensor and how to distinguish bank 1 and 2 on various models, but I'm unsure of the rules posting these docs.
  10. No, the CT doesn't have shoes. Only Pads. The reason the front pads don't stick is because the parking brake only applies the brakes to the rear wheels.
  11. Nope, wasn't sure if it was against any forum rules or anything, that's all.
  12. Can you post a photo of where you think it is in your car, then we can confirm. It is the first sensor directly in the exhaust manifold coming from the cylinder head, usually has a 4-5 inch cable and plug going into your harness.
  13. Sensor 1 is the A/F sensor, located in the exhaust manifold. I haven't got a photo unfortunately. But sent you a link.
  14. The Auris uses the same engine and EGR as the Prius and CT. Have you got any means of getting the fault codes read?
  15. Like you I have a Disco, I had it done with 5% limo tint, I feel it is too dark at night when reversing. Because of that I had my Lexus done with 20% tint and find it so much better, no problems seeing out the rear at night. And honestly doesn't look too much different from the outside compared to my Disco.
  16. If you can check the oil level..you'll be fine with the fuses, the fuses are designed to be easily replaced. Takes two minutes tops. Once you've done one you'll be changing fuses with your eyes shut.
  17. It's no problem swapping a fuse, just pull it out and replace with another of the same amp(stamped on top). Also could be the relay (same way to swap) Did you get an owners manual with the car? This should tell you the location of the fuses.
  18. From the link I put above WEDGE METAL TRIM The F SPORT expression of the Lexus design philosophy of ‘Intriguing Elegance’, seen in the refined finish throughout the cabin, is exemplified by the exclusive trim. The thinly machined metal film is finished with a fine 3D-patterned surface, creating a sophisticated visual depth that adds a subtle sporting aura to the interior.
