  3. On my way home last night at about 5.40 pm I passed a very shiny Black IS - had either chrome or highly polished alloys. This was on the A320. I was about to go under the rail bridge and you had just come under it heading towards Chertsey Shortly after that I followed a blue one through Runnymede and into Windsor. Then whoever it was followed me through Windsor and out to Maidenhead. Then in the evening the owner of a Granite Sky IS waved at me on St Marks road in Maidenhead outside the Hospital Then this morning I passed another Granite Sky IS on the roundabout in old Windsor. So, were any of these LOC members??
  4. If you open the boot on a windy day with the rear end of the car facing the gale I find the boot lid shoots right up in the air then dissapears over the top of the car. Joking aside, and not wishing to speak out of turn guys, but does it really matter how far it opens?? Mine sometimes opens about 1cm as Wosket said, other times it opens all the way. Now if I had paid the £x amount on a S600 Merc or Rolls where the boot opens and closes off of the key fob, I might get a little miffed if it didn't work.
  5. Over the last few weeks I have been to Devon and back, Wales and back then Cumbria and back. On each occassion I filled the tank up and got just over 420 miles out of each journey. I have no idea what mpg that equates to but am happy with it. These were mostly motorway miles and because I am a tight fisted ****, a fair bit of coasting down hills. Normal everyday to and from work I get about 330-340ish miles out of a tank.

  19. Very first car I had (and won't admit to anywhere else ) was my uncles old Marina . What an awful car that was. I had it for about 6 months and in that time took it to one garage or another nearly every other week. The major probably was the leaks. It let in water in the foot well, behind the glove box, sills, etc. One of the garages that I took it to said that it was common and asked I why did I think it was called a **** Marina :P After that was a Renault Laguna. Loved the car but the drive shafts went, head gasket went, air con went, windows stuck and even the drivers seat broke in half when I was going home one evening.
  20. More of an is it you rather than was it you. I have recenlty moved to our Chertsey offices and go pass two GS's parked in Chertsey hight street nearly every day. One is Silver and the other is Dark Green with Gold Bages. Usually parked outside the Pub.
