  1. Wasn't aware that he was the MD but if his name is Mark then he does have an IS200 and it pushes out 225bhp. I for one would be most interested. Mark
  2. Weren't me mate - I was going west
  3. 26 - 4 years NCB Supercharged, spoiler, lip and skirts, lowered, exhaust, induction kit and boost upgrade to take BHP to 240 ish 620 sqid with Adrian Flux - well chuffed.
  4. My father runs his own Removal Business - and he is a member of LOC (Gold). PM me if you want his details matey.
  5. The whole reason I purchased the car was because of its looks, why would i want to change that?? Huge meccano spoilers and ridiculous bodykits are of no use nor implement and serve nothing but to add weight to the car and slow the thing down with the rather impressive wind resistance that they create. Just my opinion :winky:
  6. From my experience of Lexus servicing you're probably best off doing the service yourself anyway
  7. Hasn't a club membed recently used a similar excuse - testing out thier recent upgrade :) I don't recall them getting let off
  8. What do you call a chav in a bank vault? Safe What do you call a chav in a filing cabinet? Sorted
  9. I got pulled for having a brake light out yet the police cars indicator lamp was hangining by its wire and opposite headlight was out itself. I have been raised to respect people and speak as I find on an individual basis and I live to that rule, but I find it increasingly more hard to do with traffic cops. The minute I am approached by one I am on the deffensive.
  10. 200 Brook Drive Mate in the Regus Complex
  11. Aido Mate, Look out of the building to the left and wave then matey, I am next door. Fancy some lunch??
  12. Urgh, I hate Liver :) Not a great deal I haven't had a go at - knowingly or otherwise. Had bulls testicles when I was in Spain about 6 years ago and alligator in a place in Nottingham about 3 years ago. Insects are OK, as long as they are either deep fried or smothered in Honey but they would not be my first choice on any given menu. Generally, if it once lived or was part of something that did - I'll try it - with the exception of eggs - what a foul morsel they are
  13. Hello matey, I work in Reading but don't often go drinking there. Plenty of watering holes in and around the Oracle and High Street though. How long are you down here for?
  14. Mine did exactly the same mate. There was no noise at first so thought it may of been the pump. A few weeks later the noise started so put a new belt on and all is fine.
  15. Rocket Truck Performance you ask? The ShockWave Jet Truck runs over 300 mph racing airplanes at airshows; holds the world record in a quarter mile for trucks at 256 mph in just 6.36 seconds; and holds the world record for full size trucks at 376 mph as recorded by Guinness Book of World Records. At 36,000 horsepower, the ShockWave has enough power to accelerate at 3 Gs vertical, which is as much as the Space Shuttle!
  16. I drive 27,000+ miles per year and have seen a fair few. About 3 years ago I was following a red Mazda with an elderly woman driver. She was all over the road and had already caused 2 drivers to take evasive action. I backed off and turned to me other half and said "she's going to crash that in a minute". Sure enough, not 20 seconds later, she drifted on to the other side of the road and had a head on with a blue Saab convertible with 2 young girls driving. It is not nice having to walk up to a smashed car, through smoke and steam and seeing two people unconscious with their heads buried in the air bags let me tell you. I have also seen a couple of young lads loose their cars on a roundabout, another car lane weaving on the motorway and crashing into a motorbike. I have also witnessed a truck running over a VW Polo on a roundabout as it tried to get past him. Truck was in the left hand lane with its indicators clearly showing it wanted to go right, the VW got into the right hand land and attempted to go straight over - needless to say, it didn't make it. The worst accident of all though was in Maidenhead about 4 years ago. I didn't witness it but my friend and I were the first to arrive at the scene. A young lad on a small motorbike lost control and crashed into some metal railings. He was sadly dead before we arrived.
  17. Always off, even in the wet. Never needed it before on my other cars and the system on the IS is more of a hindrance than help anyway.
  18. Went to see Tony on Saturday to get my car sorted. Tony was about the 3rd person I have visited to sort the geometry out on my car and what can I say, the chaps a genius. My steering wheel now sits nice and straight and the car no longer pulls to the left. Tony did say that whoever did the geometry last time had their eyes in back-to-front :P. Well, Lexus themselves had the car the last time so that does not exactly fill me with much confidence in the dealer network - again :o BTW - AD77 - saw you there. By the time I had worked out who you were though, you had driven off :P. Nice car matey.
  19. My neighbours won a little over 500k about 6 years ago. I do not believe in gambling so do not play
  20. There are M3 lips on ebay for 30squid matey - if you know anyone who can paint it for you your quids in. As for fitting, it's held in place with tape so it's not hard to do. I bought mine from Canter last year for 50 pounds and got me cousin to spray it. You could see if he has any more of them.
  21. I have just opposed some building in my road and you would be surprised what you can and can't object to. Things you can't obeject to are: Disrupting your view Worry of future building Loss of light And even privacy is shaky boundary or property disputes Things you can object to are: Road access Drainage - or other amenities Building out of character conservation areas protected trees Listed buildings Hope this helps matey
  22. No, prob not, but it had been suggested. As has worn gear box or linkage. I hope that whatever it is will be a cheap and easy fix. However, I doubt very much it will be.
  23. Not wishing to offend anyone, but what is wrong with this particular car???? It's not as if he is mis-advertising it, not like our 'Avionics Skwady' the other day, or stating the the car gos from 0-6 in 5 secs cause it's got a TRD oil cap like our chappie with the white Tezza. Okay, the wheels are not to my taste, but that's a personal chice. The rest of the car looks pretty much like any of the ones that are in the garge on this site. All he's done is lowered it, as many of us have, retrimed it - as has Fargo and The Don, and put an exhaust on it which looks to be the same as Ukazns. I don't see anyone slagging our cars off, do you??
  24. I took that off ages ago Aido mate. It snapped within a week of the supercharger being installed. I have yet to get the car on the ramps but I would either go along with Daves suggestion of a geabox mount or it could be a knackered clutch/flywheel. The gearstick has started to shake like a *****, especially in first gear. I cannot think of anything else it can be. Anyone else have any idea???
