  1. It’s beenon a few times and keeps getting removed. Something seems suspect!
  2. What brand ceramics did you go for? I’m thinking of getting some Hawk ones, had them on my last ISF. Mainly wanting them due to the difference in dust, I’d forgotten how much crap the stock pads kick out!
  3. Sadly not. It’s been on my list for a while now but has always clashed with other priorities. I’ll also be watching it on tv as usual but I’m planning to make it over there next year with a few mates. Everyone I’ve spoken to who has has been before has always said how awesome it is.
  4. Hold up, were you both filling up with standard 95 fuel?
  5. I paid just under £1k for a new waterpump and radiator plus fitting on my old ISF. It had only done around 40k miles when the waterpump went. Dealer claimed the radiator was damaged and also needed replacing at the same time. I imagine a new radiator plus fitting would be around £500
  6. Looking good. I really like the carbon bits, looks so much nicer than the stock stuff. Did you get second hand trim pieces from a regular IS? Were they carbon skinned?
  7. That’s shocking from Lexus. How on earth can they expect some fluid to fix something so major?
  8. Nope, just remember seeing the ad. I think the fogs had a yellow tint to them as well?
  9. I think it was your old car. Main dealer was selling it, possibly Carlisle. Silver with yellow calipers
  10. It’s the car that you asked about on the other thread then.
  11. Sorry to heat about your woes. Did your car have yellow brake calipers?
  12. Good work on the seat. Side note - what’s the best place to buy the throttle controller from?
  13. Not bad, but this is the best parking space I’ve ever found (in a multistorey too), perfect fit for the 4C I had at the time.
  14. All black with a few aftermarket carbon fibre accents would be the best combo imo.
  15. I’ve pondered about the whole snotter for daily use and something special for high days and dry days setup but it’s not for me. I’m a few days into it now, I’ve started to enjoy tunnels again 😄 The Yokohama V105s on the rear aren’t my cup of tea, managed to get it sideways without even trying. Whilst a dab of oppo is fun every now and then it’s not what I want all the time so I’ll have to get them changed. Performance seems better than I remember, maybe it’s down to driving a few turbocharged cars after my last ISF and then 6 month in a Renault Zoe. The sound when the secondary air intake opens is still just as fun. I’ll be getting a mate to drive it whilst I stand outside to get a better idea of the exhaust note.
  16. I’ll need to check mine as the car can get sideways very easily at the moment. I think that’s more down to the lower mid range Yokohamas fitted on the rears by the previous owner.
  17. Bit late to this but my brother owned an 2010 XFR at the same time as I had my last ISF. Cracking car with brilliant performance but it wasn’t exactly reliable. He purchased it as an approved used car from a main dealer. The timing chain tension went and destroyed the engine so it had a replacement under warranty. A year or so later it started having more issues which were down to the dealer cocking up the engine replacement. He got rid of it in the end. I got him to the sums to see whag it cost him in depreciation and repairs. Let’s put it this way, that total would have been enough to buy an ISF!
  18. USRS owners, what tyre pressures are you running?
  19. 🤢 thankfully not her! Same bloke owns a CGT amongst other exotica. Plan is to feature in a LFA v CGT rev off. A battle of 2 V10 engines. Not really a contest in my opinion as the LFA wins.
  20. The LFA is a very special thing. I’m meant to be meeting up with an LFA owner at some point soon, rather excited!
  21. I’m rarely thrilled by anything these days, it seems that I’ve become a grumpy old man despite only being 30 years old. I think I’ve just become blasé towards cars in general. Don’t get me wrong, the car is great and the drive home was effortless despite the motorway closures. The H&S exhaust is rather good, don’t think I’ll be tinkering with it as it seems to have the right note and volume out of the box. I may purchase the Apexi throttle controller as I’d forgotten how lazy the pedal felt in normal mode, sports is a tad too sensitive for urban driving.
  22. Well I’m back home and back in the fold! Let’s see how long it lasts this time around
  23. Given my track record the car will probably be up for sale in a few months!
  24. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Tom. All being well I should be the owner of Ray’s car by this time tomorrow. Heading down from Leeds in the afternoon. I wasn’t even planning on buying an ISF, the plan was to get an E46 M3 but then I spotted his ad on Pistonheads and I regret selling my last one.
