  1. My 2011 looks like the 2nd one too. It was obviously updated a while after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Had one in the same place. It was easy repairable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You’re welcome. It’s almost impossible to get those tiny fuses out with your fingers. You’ll have easy access down there too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Gave the CT a full clean yesterday. Where I work has a dusty track leading to it. So today it got covered in dust. I had to clean it again. I think I’m going mad haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I recently bought a cheap 12v hoover from eBay. First thing it does is blow the aux socket fuse. Didn’t risk using it again as the engine kicks in constantly due to the hoover. Anyway the 15A fuse is in the interior fuse box under the glove compartment. It uses micro fuses in there. Pull off the panel from under the glovebox and look up to find the white cover that unclips to get to the fuses. The aux socket fuse is the 3rd one down on the right in the above photo. Because these fuses are micro ones I used the fuse puller from the fuse box under the bonnet. Top right in the photo. My fingers are too big to grab hold of it. Replace 15A fuse and refit fuse box cover. Re clip panel under glovebox and job done. Just thought I’d share in case anyone doesn’t know where it is and how to replace it. 6. It’s a plug and play. Just buy the cruise control switch yourself. Lexus and Toyota don’t even know there own cars. Useless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Wikipedia comes up with this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ah thanks Stompe. All the years I’ve had mine and I didn’t know you could do this. Guess I should read all the thick volumes of the manual ha ha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Good tyres. I was glad to get rid of the original Goodyear’s too. They were so hard and noisy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It’s quite accessible if you turn the steering slightly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well documented problem for some this is. Lexus will tell you the lower joint is worn (which doesn’t come separate from the column) and the price is crazy. The solution is to replace the bolt on the lower joint (from inside). Owners have stated it’s cured the problem 100%. I don’t actually have this problem on mine (2011). There is a thread in the CT forum about this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The only thing I’ve read (on a US forum) is a rear wheel bearing replacement due to being noisy. You don’t need to worry about the CT they are great cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. As already stated. There is basically nothing bad to report about these, they are bulletproof reliability. There are no concerns about oil consumption because they don’t burn oil (don’t believe everything you read on US forums). Mines on 88K and has never burnt any oil between services. There are no reported traction battery problems in the UK. They do have an oil pressure warning as said but you would never see it come on. Don’t be put off by fictitious stories when us owners can give you all the information you require. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I’ve also found in the past that certain earthing points can cause interference. Try moving the earth to another point. It’s always worked for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I’m the same as well. Front 36 Rear 35 Good ride, great economy and not so harsh ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Same with me and my CT. Lexus want to charge me £450 fitted for DAB. I have the button on the media unit. Apparently it’s just a plug in module and an extra internal aerial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Looks great and a bargain fitment too. I do like those cams they always get a good write up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I think my garage would fit inside an RX haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I’ve yet to see any LED headlamp go. As said I’d be surprised if there is anything wrong with yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Looking at this they only list the high beam bulb as being separate. I have a Premier too and might look at mine later. It’s a horrific price for a headlamp on one of these. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Totally agree. I don’t know what people see in all these so called SUV,s that everyone is making these days. 99% of them are ugly and a totally impractical vehicle especially on today’s tiny roads and parking spaces. On the subject of garages I had to downsize to a CT. I originally wanted an IS but it won’t fit in my garage. It would’ve been too long and wide to get in. The CT just passes the garage opening with mirrors in the normal position. I had previously a Skoda Octavia which was the biggest I could get in there. So I’m in the same predicament as yourself. Looking at the 2018 Toyota Auris certainly looks a decent car but does it have the Lexus luxury? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I thought the CT was never made with Xenon headlamps.I was told my Premier has them but I believe they’re LED.They are self levelling though. To the OP as said you will need them coded to the car via a dealer or someone who has Techstream. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  23. I 2nd Khumos. I have them on the front of mine. I have Goodyears on the rear and they are very noisy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. The sat Nav is just as bad on early models. I’m not sure about the later ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
