I'd be inclined to just abandon any thoughts of using the in-car satnav and just use your iphone Maps whatever . these are always upto date and functionality is usually brilliant I abandoned thoughts of a Jap Import car when faced with the real prospect of buying one from a member here . seeing and knowing that the icons on the screen couldn't be changed to full English seemed to irrationally concern me ............. not the satnav however coz of my thoughts above ! Surely there's someone, professional somewhere that can simply change all that Jap stuff to Full English AND the in-car satnav eh ! Good luck Malc

we have a cat called Winky . yes, she only has one eye ..... not sure about her driving skills but mousing skills are still good and maybe we all need better centre of road " cats eyes " to help us see in the dark ............. on a more useful note ..... as a simple Type 2 diabetes bod on meds I have an annual NHS retinopathy test that checks all my eyesight stuff and eye health etc . all's good for that moment in time .. it doesn't supplant the usual annual ( is it ? ) opticians visit to SpecSavers tho' And I hear having cataracts removed also involves eye lens replacement and the dispensing with that specsavers visit and spectacles too Getting old eh ! WELL DONE the NHS Eyesight bods and a Happy Xmas to you all Malc

have you simply got an air lock in the system that needs bleeding out ..... bleeding air lock AND as for that snowmode stuff and wheels and tyres, well, my 56 plate Honda Legend 3.5 ltr is an automatic with simply ALL WHEEL DRIVE and is purported to be brill in the snow whenever we might get some, or indeed any more that I won't be staying indoors to try to simply AVOID I don't need an SUV but do acknowledge that my beloved Ls400 is simply pathetic and all over the place in ice and snow Malc

just reading BP has now over 1200 BP filling stations in the UK ...... from the total number of 8380 filling stations UK wide so refuelling my new Ls700 anywhere in the UK shouldn't be a problem in the not too distant future, well, 2030 maybe ( I'll be 80 then btw ) 🤣 Malc

Methinks it all gong to be quite simpler than Govt and the skeptiks might think Toyota as a global mass manufacturer has already developed Hydrogen Cars . and more........ Building Hydrogen powered HGVs engines etc in the UK upcoming and BP is developing it's Hydrogen Fuel production in the UK AND quite central ( in the north of England ) to be able to feed out to each and every BP petrol station in the UK . Mine's lived on the coast all it's life ( I think ) and at 242k miles there's very very little corrosion too . just a rear wheel arch . can't believe at 60k and so young it's a rust MOT Failure yes please put up the regn so we can have a proper look at history etc Thank you Malc

defrosting and de-icing on my ancient steed is pretty damn good too actually ............ just don't really want to pop out in her until the wonderful sunshine has had fist stab at defrosting her in the mornings Lucky the car is parked by the Town Quay and there's no buildings nor trees dampening the morning sun effect ........ 🤩 Malc
