  1. Sorry to hear this, that sucks. Maybe look on ebay for a used exhaust, but ultimately you'll risk the same problem and it'll still cost you. Did you pay for it on a credit card? You may have some consumer rights just based on that.
  2. I had a similar problem on a different car (Honda Civic), ended being an issue with a sensor on the bonnet so I ended up disconnecting that sensor. Sorry I can't help much more than that! Also, perhaps locking the car with the key instead of using the fob may bypass the alarm.
  3. Can be closed, bought a new genuine one from ebay. Sent from my XQ-AS52 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi all, I've noticed my rear left hand side bumper reflector's is cracked, just checking if anyone has one? Pic: Thanks in advance
  5. Agree with this also, the moisture from a leak would dry onto the windows.
  6. Do you leave AC on all the time? I've only had this problem in cars when the AC is off.
  7. I'm Thanks for your research so far, along with others information too. This is definitely something for me to consider on my car in the coming year or so. Everything has a lifespan, especially fluids.
  8. Whereabouts are you based? My car is also Cadoxton Slate and the previous owner refurbed my wheels in a darker colour. I couldn't decide whether I liked it at first, but I've decided and I do! Let me know if you need a pic, otherwise it's on my profile.
  9. Hi all, A bit of a niche question, does anyone know how to change the audio settings that the car uses for the CD Player with a VLINE system? In the manual, it mentions pressing the SCAN button three times, but we don't have the SCAN button in the UK: Or can you only change the settings within Android? Seems odd. I know I can disconnect the unit and get to the options, but it's then difficult to test the sound settings as you listen to music. TIA
  10. Makes the opening much easier and the boot needs a small lift and then it raises by itself. I'm not sure if it was ever designed to open fully by itself. Doesn't seem safe?
  11. Agree with this, crazy guillotine and un-Lexus like! My order details for reference (fitted to my car currently):
  12. I bought mine from SGS Engineering if that helps. £54.96 for a pair including delivery.
  13. Thanks for this, I've found that my car is Cadoxton Slate as per the picture or Smoky Granite Mica. It's a damn good colour too, just what I was after in terms of being a bit different!
  14. I just tried the video again and it works, great sound clip at the end. Sorry, I meant the Joe-Z as aftermarket. I did read about the Lexus Sound Generator, perhaps I should purchase that instead. Good to finally hear a clip of it.
  15. Hi there, Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I'm not looking to go for the aftermarket approach on the intake, although I must say it looks interesting! I think I'll just end up sourcing one from the states for now. Your instagram story is unavailable for me I'm afraid.
  16. Make sure you downvote and comment on the video! Otherwise, there'll be more people ruining their IS250's!!
  17. I reckon if you post up your car specs, condition and service history summary - I'm sure lots of people will help you value it. I generally use the prices on Auto Trader as a guide, in terms of year, mileage, spec and history.
  18. Thanks for this, I've gathered it was US only recently. I'll just stump up the cash, was hoping someone might have one for sale or know somewhere else I could get one. Are you selling your parts?
  19. Finally got round to doing this today, thanks for the help everyone.
  20. Update on this topic: Looks like I'll have to import from the US currently, to the tune of about £410 including shipping and taxes.
  21. It's slightly different, with smoothed out internals and different piping. I'm sure it's not wildly different, but like the idea of it and it looks fantastic (even though it lives in the engine bay where I won't see it!)
