  1. Update on this topic: Looks like I'll have to import from the US currently, to the tune of about £410 including shipping and taxes.
  2. It's slightly different, with smoothed out internals and different piping. I'm sure it's not wildly different, but like the idea of it and it looks fantastic (even though it lives in the engine bay where I won't see it!)
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking for a bit of slight induction sound, if possible. It's not essential but would be nice! 😎
  4. Can anyone share where they have bought their F Sport Intake kit from? Also, is the part number PTR03-53100 ? I've seen a few sellers on ebay in the US, but I'll be looking at around £400 odd after import charges and delivery. Thanks in advance.
  5. It's just a personal pet peeve [emoji23] How is the MOT history and service history looking for this car? Also, your gut feeling when looking at it will tell you a lot, leave alone the condition of the car will tell you a lot about how honest it is.
  6. I don't know about the tow bar, but doesn't seem like the kind of car that tows! Those are definitely refurbs in Black, not my taste at all sorry! You could refurbish them back to stock. Would look nice!
  7. V6 badges are just unusual add ons. Probably just Halfords specials [emoji23] Any pics? The wheels don't sound original either in terms of finish. Spoiler could be an optional extra or a retrofit.
  8. I'd imagine most people would. I should have been more specific. It might be more difficult to replace with an exhaust with the same silencing capabilities as the Genuine Lexus Exhaust? I'd consider a JDM aftermarket exhaust, if mine ever failed.
  9. I recently bought one and I know you should check the condition of the exhaust as I believe it's a Lexus only part if you need a replacement. Therefore, can be expensive to replace. Also, the slide pins on the rear (front and back?) calipers have a tendency to seize and need red rubber grease on them periodically, perhaps every 6-12 months. Otherwise, you are looking at a caliper replacement. I'm sure there are many other things that more experienced members can help you with! [emoji1417]
  10. I'm fairly sure that's a US/Canada thing. Interested to see other replies.
  11. A good post, thanks. One of the many reasons I opted for a Lexus IS250 was that it's quiet and relaxing on a long run. A quiet cabin for a smaller saloon.
  12. Thanks for that, I think the link on your post looks to be my current one? Appreciate the advice, I think I've also found some info as I've edited my last post.
  13. Thanks, I will look into doing this too. If you see a guide or a topic about it, post it here please. I'll have a search in the meanwhile. I've found this post which answers my question along with the attached TSB: BO-0061L-1108-EN_IR.pdf
  14. Hi all, I've got a niggly issue with my passenger side mirror. Recently, I've been driving on the motorway and realised that my passenger side mirror position has changed from where I have it set. Odd. So, I thought let me set the position again and synchronise it with the memory position 1 on my door. I drive again recently and notice it's moved again. This goes on for a week or so and I've realised why the issue is happening, but I'm unsure how to fix it. To be on the safe side, I've also synced my key to the unlock procedure, just in case it was an old setting was recalled when unlocked. A very cool feature by the way too 😎 Basically, when I put the car into reverse, the side mirrors dip. But the passenger mirror doesn't go back to it's original position when going back into drive. It's not wildly wrong, but it's definitely not what I've set it to. Any ideas on how to fix it? I've trying recalling the memory function while parked, but it still doesn't go back to what I've set it to. It is almost as if the dipped mirror function makes the mirror lose where it used to be. Only affects the passenger side too. Thoughts and fixes welcome.
  15. Quick question on this - which fuse did you feed off of in the end? Also, did you use the passenger side fuse or the driver side? I will be attempting to do the same in my IS250 very soon with my old Nextbase dashcam.
  16. Hi all, I'm after a Lexus IS250 rubber boot mat. I want the genuine one please. Thanks in advance.
  17. Thanks Mr Vlad! Yes, it's definitely a nice car and trim. I think I prefer it as a day to day driver compared to the F Sport I had. Mainly the non sporty seats [emoji23]
  18. Thanks! It's Dark grey with light grey interior. Sent from my XQ-AT51 using Tapatalk
  19. Hi all, I am back again, I have purchased an IS250 SE-L. I did have a 2010 IS250 F Sport a couple of years ago, but only had it for 6 months due to a job change. I'm looking forward to being an owner again, I've owned to many Honda's so I'm hoping Lexus becomes my new passion.
  20. Sorry to revive an old thread, but I've got mine on order too. Didn't realise how screwed mine was until I saw your video! Thanks.
  21. Watched it today, really amazing documentary. Hope more people watch it.
