  1. Lets see how long this one in Swindon lasts.
  2. But then if he wants to move it on quickly, surely selling it through webuyanycar/arnold clark or something would be quicker and just as easy. I am sure they will offer similar value to what is listed.
  3. With baby: I think CT200h will struggle, boot space regarding buggy/pushchair. Even room at the back/headroom is tight/ depending on the height of the baby seat. I dunno whether the baby is forward facing or rearward facing, but either will be tight. With 5k budget, i would say go for things like honda civic
  4. You have got me looking at the model 3 now T.T wp
  5. Hi thanks. Did the car had much issue? I gather you traded it for RCF. I have spoken to the staff already about this car, he seem very nice and helpful, and quite knowledgeable on lexus cars. I dun mind who does the service, my priority is getting the extended warranty, and i gather lexus would want to do the service/check it before that can be issued. trying to work out how this should best be done 🤔
  6. Nice. This car, used, offer great value for what you get as a whole package.
  7. I agree $$$. Might take a look at the one down in bournemouth on autotrader 😁
  8. I have been in touch. Its priced at 26k. They dun have the stock exhaust. Not far off from the 13 plate one on autotrader which has some margin of negotiation.
  9. Hi did you part exchange it with the stock exhaust as well? I gather from the post in 2018, Mark G supplied the stock exhaust as well when he sold it. thanks Barry
  10. It looks good. ride quality much improved? 2010 vs 2011?
  11. I am not aware of distance selling law/ more like lazy, want more money for less work law to me. I may be wrong of coz and things might have changed. i bought both of my lexus from a distant lexus dealer. One at Stoke and the other at hedgend. Both dealers delivered the car to my doorstep. I didnt even travel down to look at the cars (that is how much i trust lexus 😑). I recall the hedgend one needing to set off at 2am the morning so he can reach newcastle by 8am to give me the car. I just sold my cars at the time via arnold clark and we buyanycar.com. my details are registered with newcastle lexus/service/mot date reminders etc and my interest for gsf so that is why they rang me. i will probably test drive it if it hasnt been sold by then to satisfy some craving, may i can test drive it on your behalf haha. I dun think i can do with two sonic titanium cars in my drive (as my wife wont give up the NX) + Ideally i want the blue/black Gsf i am in no hurry to change car, unless there is a strikingly good deal with a 16 gsf or 13 isf, then i might make an impulsive move. All the best with your purchase. barry
  12. Lol i think the market is too small and competitive at a moment for any kind of negotiation
  13. Nice. Understand the struggle of getting the right colour etc. They contacted me as well as i am based in newcastle, regarding the gsf. From the sound of the sales person its gonna be sold before the car actually arrive at the centre. i can only answer your paint question. I have a nx in sonic titanium and it is a fantastic colour/ i have only had it for over a year but i have found light scratches do show up easier and harder to shift (i am comparing this to my white gs450h). But i dont think you should factor this into your decision about the car. Barry
  14. Thanks. I have made my mind up, gsf it is. I need the practicality aspect. Just need to wait for one in my budget bracket 😑
  15. Hi all further to my recent post in searching for my first F. I noted a RCF down in Warwick (quite a distance for myself to travel). Just wonder if anyone has any experience dealing with Sytner Select (as a whole or the branch in Warwick) Opinion is open in relation to a blue rcf with grey interior, 15, 35k miles. Selling just under 30k. Thanks barry
  16. Not that i am not interested. I have very little knowledge on car mechanics and, for this reason, i have very cautious approach in buying cars/ i tend to opt for manufacturer approved/under warranty car as i dun have much financial room for unexpected high repair cost. On that note, i believe a modified car has implication on warranty/ insurance/ more importantly i am concerned as to how many mechanics incl lexus would be willing to look at the car if problem arises. thanks for your advice! Grateful if you can share some thought on this barry
  17. I have both an Nx300h (my wife drives it now predominantly) and Gs450h. I can tell you I regret getting the Nx300h.i was in a similar situation to you last year, with a budget just under 30k debating between a used rx and nx. If i have the chance to do it again, I would have gotten an older generation rx450 with air suspension. Much better ride comfort/quieter cabin, during the test drive. I can’t comment on the fuel economy difference between the rx and the nx. However, between the Gs450h and the nx300h, the nx was better averaging about 38-40mpg compared to early thirties in the Gs. The reason I didn’t get the rx450 was only simply down to the fact that my wife couldn’t live with the looks (i am referring to the pre facelift models (<2015), which I admit, the nx has a much more palatable styling and interior. hope it helps.
  18. I can tell you I regret getting the Nx300h, after a long debate between a used rx vs nx. If i have the chance to do it again, I would have gotten an older generation rx450 with air suspension. Much better ride comfort/quieter cabin. I dun think abt performance with this type of car, its a hybrid, drive it as what it sets out to do. The reason I didn’t get the rx450 was only simply down to the fact that my wife couldn’t live with the looks (i am referring to the pre facelift models (<2015), which I admit, the nx has a much more palatable styling and interior. Another question to ask yourself is do you really need an SUV/ over like a saloon or estate. I find my gs450h just as functional as the nx, carrying a family of 4 with babies.
  19. What are people’s view on the isf on the manufacturer web/ 08 plate 58k mile priced just under 20k is it too old?
  20. I know right. And then the one and only gsf on AT is 40k priced similiar to an equivalent rcf of the same year and mileage. The depreciation value of gsf > rcf? Would people agree?
  21. Thank you! i am quite fond on the old school interior of the isf, just cant justify the cost compared with the rcf 😭 am i right to think the gsf has the better interior kit compared to the rcf?
  22. Good idea! May be the lc500 at some point too 😉 or the convertible if they do eventually decide to make it
