  1. Many Thanks to Skeet94. Pipe came this morning and I changed it over. It doesn't look to good to be honest (can see airline cracks in the rubber around where the jubileee clip goes) , but will do for now and better then my old one with a big hole in it! LOL
  2. Just asked my sister to read that since she does RTA at the moment. Unfortunetly she said straight away that it is your fault! :( - Sorry.
  3. Oops! Sorry mate - wrong item I was thinking of the Blitz R-VIT DS http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/Product-177.aspx
  4. Any reason why you are considering this over the HKS Camp 2? Its pretty new. Envy Performance can get it, but not sure on price. :)
  5. In this case, TWO Lexus's (other car was also a Lexus) Glad you are ok - you are much more important then the car! :) So what happened??
  6. Aido, I bought a set of plates for my Aristo from Fancy plate just last week and actually got the smaller import plate for the front of the car too based on your advice. I tried it on and it does look really nice BUT it is not strictly legal because although the Aristo is an import, you can only have a smaller plate if the original car does not have the space to accomodate a standard full size UK plate. At the moment I have a standard UK full size plate which I got at the same time to avoid being pulled. Police round this end are very pedantic over tints and plates! The plan is that when I eventually get a FMIC then I will get some slots cut into the bumper where the current number plate holder is so that the FMIC is properly ducted and as a consequence I will have to remove the numberplate holder. ;) I will put the smaller plate at the side of the car then and with the car being an import AND no longer being able to have a standard numberplate I think I will be legal (and the FMIC should perform better) OR I'll think forget and not bother with the hassle!! Also regarding plates, their is a plate I have wanted for the Aristo for ages. I think its brilliant! V300 BYE You can get that direct from the DVLA website, but with my car originally being an R reg I can't put it on my car :( :( Maybe if you fancied it you might consider it for your car since I'm sure yours is a newer car???
  7. Just read that James May cleans the vents of his Porsche with a little brush and has to have all this vents pointing straight!
  8. Cheers mate! Very helpful! Skeet94 has upgraded to a FMIC and kindly said I can have his old one. Steve did say he can make something out of metal, but I will probably be upgrading to a FMIC in a abit anyway so will use Skeet94's hose for now until I do :)
  9. OLD THREAD REVIVAL! Just experienced the same thing with my car today - was testing a boost controller with Simon from Charlesworth motors and when we got back to the garage the pipe had disintegrated! Taped up the hole and had to nurse the car home at at max of 0.2psi. Don't suppose you have a part no for it do you Aido?
  10. OMG :o If this really is what the new RX is going to look like, then I think it looks hidious!! Looks like a cut and shut with the front end of a Mk3 GS300 and the rear of a Mk2 RX300!
  11. One of the nicest looking IS250's I have seen; very tastefully modded. The Angle eyes look superb and really suit the car too! :D Well Done! :D
  12. When did these new prices come in? I went about 7 months ago to see them with the Aristo and I got charged just £40 + Vat for the check and I think one adjustment at £16.50. After I had my new suspension fitted (coilovers, lowered etc) I went to see them again (this was about 2 - 3 months ago) and I got charged £94 all in, that was to adjust the whole car.
  13. Looks good, but I take it is is a non-VVTI engine, unlike the Aristo one?
  14. Your car has been in a front end smash, so no matter if the car had premature tyre wear issues in the past or not, it is in my opinion mandatory for it to have a full geometry check, even if you were told the car had no or little suspension damage. Like others have said all IS200/300's really should have the geometry check regardless, but more so in your case due to the accident. Since you are from a similar area as myself, your closest geometry centre is Drury Lane in Oldham; just take the WIM settings with you or of course if you can make the trip to WIM then do so :) Hope that helps. Anees :)
  15. I like that! Clever solution that Chris ;)
  16. In that case, I would definetly choose ducting onto the induction kit - will be better to have nice cool fresh air going to your induction kit rather then brakes which like you say you will probably never get them hot enough for it to make much of a difference. :)
  17. I got balls :D I thought you drove an Audi ? I was just waiting for a Wozza classic smart remark their!.....
  18. I made sure my whole family and as many friends I could persuade said NO. Just got a text from a friend that said "I would pay £5, just to not have to go anywhere near Manchester" Cheeky..........
  19. Yeah, the same source you read that from also reported that they are bringing in Japaneses Car Tax (payable in Yen!) for owners of Aztec Fire Japanese Cars! :P
  20. I don't know much about photography, but a guy at work bought the Nikon D90 a few weeks back and I must say, the quality of the images is just in a different league to anything else I have seen - just so sharp and clear and vibrant. The technology is amazing. He bought lenses, extra battery, larger flash etc - think it cost him just under a grand. But he plans on doing a few weddings during the summer to get some of his money back :)
  21. I was just gonna post this, you beat me to it mate. Yes, good news! :D More info here! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/7778110.stm Nice to see that all ten councils in Greater Manchester rejected the plans! :)
