  1. Fabulous post Nigel . I concur with everything your saying. I'm also in a similar situation with my UX bought hopefully for reliability and like you i will keep the vehicle. Retire in a couple of years my only regret now is that i should have moved to lexus before now. I used to do trips over to France (booze run) and have considered Spain (Rioja). Anyhow its Happy new year 2021 now all the best to you and other LOC members. Brent

  4. At Last Barry you got it. I was beginning to wonder what's happened. Let us know after you have got a few miles under your belt. All the best.
  5. Welcome Martin enjoy the forums.
  6. I read on another forum that car thieves when they steal a vehicle they know a lot of models now have built in GPS. Enables owners to keep a track of their vehicle. Or so they thought apparently the GPS is found in the roof in the panel where the switches are for the sunroof, emergency call and passenger /driver overhead lights. First thing the thieves do is rip this out so the car cant be traced by this system. Obviously it wouldn't work if another system tracker had been fitted. This was first time i had heard of this so i thought might be worth sharing.
  7. Welcome to the LOC Steve. I'm fairly new myself. What i understand from reads on the forum all Lexus vehicles are comfy. Hope you get sorted and best of luck to both of you.
  8. Thanks Adrian i more or less guessed that would be the case, i cant remember seeing one on other vehicles I've had. Strange especially when you have the horizontal element's as well.
  9. Where the passenger side windscreen wiper finishes on its upward sweep i have a line on the windscreen. The line is as long as the wiper blade. I have had this issue on other cars as well. I'm obviously doing something wrong on my windscreen cleaning. I'm looking for help here from some of you expert windscreen cleaners. My usual routine after a wash is go over windscreen again with the likes of autoglymn fast glass or if i haven't any left something like Mr muscle or cif window cleaner. After that i might leave it or i may go over it with some autoglymn glass polish. Then if the screen gets dirty before next wash i may quickly use fast glass again or Mr muscle etc. I use a paper towel and i always clean the blade. Am i over doing it. The line where the wiper pushes it is difficult to remove. Thanks.
  10. Mine is working fine. On the hybrid driving tips it says bad accelaration and im hardly touching it.
