  1. Very inventive! So the Belgians are too be admired for other than chips and mayonnaise 😋
  2. You must know David that these days no one has a doctor let alone see one. 🤣
  3. If I were you I would certainly go see your doctor. Your current medications are clearly affecting your judgement in being able to differentiate between your actual speed and your delusional one. This is not necessarily a bad thing but will be if you confuse your membership of the LOC with that of the Lakeland Orienteering Club which would mean you are completely lost 🤣
  4. May I point out to both my learned friends that the statement provided "the vibration at 80 mph has gone" did not, firstly, say the tyres were fitted to any particular car, secondly at no point did he state he was the driver of the vehicle to which they were fitted,. Furthermore, you will note that the letter g and h are adjacement on a UK keyboard so I may wish to venture that the wording should have read 80 mpg, ie referring to the wonders of Lexus frugality 😎
  5. If you are looking at MCC's try phoning your local Costco, most competitive cost per corner I have found so far
  6. Oddly enough I believe that there are more horses today than in Victorian times🤔. It could well be a fart, oops sorry meant to type fact 🤣
  7. Great Post 👍and of course electric cars are not about emissions at all. As you note aready a true "dust to dust" balance sheet demonstrates the fallacy of this. As to rising sea levels, cataclysmic weather events and effects etc look up the Global Warming Policy Foundation papers for some non group think information. Regarding our grandchildren well an EV world means total control over when they will be allowed to travel, how often how far. Same goes for the cashless society and smart meters.
  8. Well I think Steve you should live to be 100 years old👍and the last words you hear are mine 😎
  9. Try In Car Connections at Gateshead. I now have BT in my RX and listen toTalk Radio and Swiss Jazz mainly, (gave up on R4 ages ago) via various phone apps. Get the odd signal drop but nothing significant. One thing I am looking into is a viable speed/warning system as I am finding my RX is way too easy to speed in. Any input from the club would be most helpful👍
  10. No, the Paradox of Swiss Cheese that has holes in it. The Paradox being the more you buy the more holes you buy ergo the less cheese you buy. 🤣
  11. Do you mean like Swiss Cheese John?
  12. Every time I see your name I keep reading it as Tailpipe woes 😉
  13. That must be a fantastic photo opp David? Too see students graduate from a horse rather than a dais, I wonder are the horses colour matched to mortar boards and gowns? Do tell. 🐎🐎🐎
  14. Fraid not as they will state you are already getting 50%
  15. If you are content with £66 per month fine but bear in mind using a CC gives you additional Section 75 protection. I used mine for both warranty extension and service plan which as a gold card LOC member gave me a 20% reduction on service plans bringing the cost down to Essential levels
  16. As I understand Barry the 2 for 1 has been running years, mine is 995 for comparison. In an earlier post I also said that I had funded mine through a 0% credit card offer on the Martin Lewis site which in your case would be £33 per month. Now whether you think that this is a good deal depends on your attitude to risk. Having looked at your Naval regalia I suspect you aren't a stranger to risk and I for one wish to say thank you for keeping us safe 👍
  17. David, destroyer of illusions 😱 so Indiana Jones wasn't a professor after all but a car mechanic😱😱😎😎
  18. Have you tried the L200 truck owners club? Or failing that I think Primo registrations will sell on your behalf
  19. I always taught people, once is a mistake, twice a coincidence and 3 times a pattern 😎
  20. I wonder why we all spend a huge amount of time looking and learning about our cars in microscopic detail yet spend hardly any on learning about car salesman tactics and how various finance options affect your actual versus perceived cost of ownership. Yet spending some time on this will make you the buyer and not being sold to - a big difference. Loads of insight on YouTube especially Kevin Hunter and his video on Leverage. Guaranteed to make you more confident and knowledgeable.
